Default Blackheads

I was looking up something else about epsom salt and came across a couple of sites that mentioned a mixture of iodine and epsom salt would help clear up black heads. I have had issues with these on my nose and chin for ages. It is not super noticable unless you look close, but it would be great to get rid of it.

So anyone every used iodine and epsom salt on your face and have it help?

I didn't read too much about it, but I assume you'd only do it at night, then wash your face in the morning as I'm sure the iodine would stain your face.

I'm curious to know how this works. I would think the iodine would stain your face.. My blackheads are awful... My nose and chin. I've been using blackhead scrub, pore strips, face masks but nothing helps. It's irritating.

I've been struggling with my face as well. I've found that baking soda face scrubs (just mixing a thick paste of baking soda with water in your palm and working it into your skin and letting it dry for a few minutes before washing off) seems to help draw the deeper blackheads up and make them easier to remove.

Let us know if/how the iodine works if you try it--I'm always looking for new stuff to try!
