Default Tupperware Organization

Just wondering how you ladies all organize your tupperware/containers for storing things?

We have one cupboard where we store it but it continuously becomes a big pile of dishes that it's hard to open the door without it all falling out so just looking for some tips of how you organize it.

I stack them into each other by size and I bought the sets with locking lids, that helps a ton!

(That's actually a good deal- if it comes back in stock I might order it, because DH tends to lose them at work!)

We mostly just throw them into a drawer/cabinet and it's a mess lol Every few weeks I go through and organize it (the lids snap together and such) but it always gets to be a mess again lol

That's exactly what we have too, Jenny. We just stack them up and it's not hard to keep them organized since there aren't a ton of them.

We actually have a larger plastic bin we put ours in, the same ones that Jenny has. Lids go on one side and the others get stacked based on size next to lids. It keeps them organized. (It annoys me if I can't find a lid or something that matches so I donated anything that didn't match the set)

When I'm putting things away in there, I open the door just wide enough to throw whatever it is in there then slam the door shut really fast so as to avoid an avalanche of containers. When pulling something out, I generally just open the door and nine times out of ten, the thing I need falls out at my feet. So I guess I should take some notes from this thread.

I throw them all in a big drawer

We don't have all that many though.

LOL that sounds exactly like our place.

I get tired of organizing them just to have them become a big mess again.

Mine stack inside each other. I used to sell the stuff so i made sure i kept hold of various sizes.

I reckon there's a little Pixie that goes into everyone's houses. He gets in the cupboards and moves everything around. Then when he's bored with that. He goes behind the TV, Stereo or PC and tangles all the cables up.
