Default Ouch.

I've pulled the hamstring in my right leg. And me being me is trying to carry on regardless.

This is OK until it goes "Ping" again. Then my leg goes from under me and DH has to pick me up.

I'm getting old and feeling ancient.

Ouch is right!
You should rest it, ice it for 15-20 minutes, and if you can add some compression to that by wrapping it in a bandage while you ice it you'll get even better results, and then keep it elevated as much as you can for the next 48 hours.
I hope it feels better soon!

A pulled muscle can be a real pain (no pun intended), try to take it easy and let it heal ... alternate warm and cool compresses I hear helps, and Ibuprofen (anti-informatory).

Hope you feel better soon!

I pulled one of my hamstrings while marathon training a few years back. Ouch! I couldn't even fully extend my leg. It was extremely painful, and it kept me from running for almost a week. Just try to rest it. Elevate it, use a compress, and don't do anything strenuous! My FH took good care of me, and I hope DH is doing the same for you! It may not be fun, but maybe it will get you out of doing some housework .

You're having a laugh.

I've been up and about. Been Christmas shopping. Doing housework etc. I'll never learn.

DH keeps telling me to sit down. But it's not in my nature. It's not like my legs fell off.
