This will be the weekly theme until Wednesday, July 19. On Thursday, July 20 we will start the next theme. However, if you come across more Fall/harvest ideas please add them to this thread as long as you like!

The 3 other top themes were beach, Hollywood, and Fall/Halloween. They all got the same number of votes. Any ideas on how to decide what order they should come in would be appreciated.

This is a trial run. If I see that it does not go well or people are not happy with this then we can always try something else. I just thought it would be a fun way to get everyone's input.

The bride and groom can wear traditional wedding clothes or costumes. At a wedding I recently attended, the bride and groom changed into Bride of Frankenstein and a stable groom costumes, half way through the reception. You could also dress as the bride from the "Kill Bill" movies, or as the Princess Bride and Westley. Of course you’ll want to have plenty of pumpkins around – consider having a pumpkin carving station to keep any children (and childish adults!) busy for hours.

For fall, it's a no-brainer. Use what Mother Nature offers so abundantly: Rich earth tones (browns, warm rusts, burnt oranges, deep reds, golden yellows, and greens). Cozy up table utensils and accessories by using copper and gold tones as opposed to classic silvers and pewters.

Great stuff Becky! I really like the Mason jars with the candle in it. That would be great for a Western themed wedding as well!
