My mason jar lanterns!!! *pics*

OK - We are having a noon ceremony, but we want people to hang out with us at the lodge all day. We plan on doing all the regular wedding stuff and being done around 3 or so, then hanging out, and when it's dinnertime, we'll order a ton of pizza and start a bonfire around 7.

Well, the walk to the lodge and the bonfire pit is not a short one (not too long, but long enough not to be called a short one - haha), and we wanted to light the way so that when people walk back and forth to the bathroom, or to the kitchen for more smore ingredients, they won't fall and break their legs.

So I too regular pint mason jars ($7 for 12 of them), took the lids off, and decoupaged tissue paper around the outsides. The color of the tissue paper is the color as some of our tissue paper flowers (centerpieces).

We'll probably put one every four or five feet or so. And this seems so much safer than the paper bag luminaries, especially if it's windy at all!

these are really neat. i have been trying to find some pics of some with flowers in them too.. does anyone know where to find any?
oh the pizza idea is neat!
