YAY! I'm so happy to hear that she's interested in potty training. That means there's hope for Katie haha!

Congrats on no paci, and good luck with the toddler bed! Me and Katie just went on vacation and we actually did better on vacation (sleepwise) than we do at home. She did, however, sleep in my bed with me.

Ugg the internet ate my post!! Okay so I don't have a ton of time to I'll try to make this the short version.

1. We are starting the 3 day potty training method this weekend. I think/hope that Averi will do well, but wish us luck.

2. Averi is turning into a chatty Kathy. She talks in full blown sentences and probably has 250 words in her vocabulary. She does mix up her pronouns sometimes which is adorable, but I still correct her. She will say things like "NO mommy, my do it!"

I have made a habit of bringing her to the library on Monday nights to pick out new books and movies and so she can play with the toys there. On a number of occasions people have stopped me to ask how old she was and amazed to hear she wasn't even 2. Makes me feel good, but I doubt it was any of my doing, I think she is naturally smart like her daddy.

3. She can say her abc's most of the way through, but does mix up some letters her and there. She always skips of R and S for some reason. I heard her count to ten once without my help but hasn't done it since.

4. This isn't really about Averi. More our family in general. Jon and I decided not to do any medical treatments to get me pregnant again. This risks of us ending up with one then one baby is too great, and the risks go up every year I turn older too. I know I'm only going to be 30 fertilty meds are risky in themselves. I also don't feel like it would be fair to Averi since the treatments take a lot of my time, energy and especially emotional energy. With that said, we probably will not be having any more kids. I have been grieving this idea for a while but I finally think I may be at peace with it. Averi is a miracle enough. We agree to try in the spring naturally. And people tell me all the time of stories of woman that get pregnant after IVF but I don't like to put a lot of hope in that. So we will see what happens in March. I'll go off BC and we'll start trying right away. After the signs of my PCOS is kicking back in, no periods for months - we'll call it quits.
