Default "What that heck"

Generally "what the heck" is a nicer way to say "what the h3ll" ... so do you think it is appropriate for a child to say?

I voted maybe for an older kid. I mean, kids learn from what they hear.

I know I "had to meet Dawn" (as in Dawn dish soap) when I swore growing up, but looking back it was kind of hypocritical because my parents swore. They tried not to, but if they hurt themselves or got really mad or something they did. And as much as they tried blaming it on people I hung out with, I really don't remember swearing when I was having a good time with friends.

It doesn't bother me. It's better than the stuff that comes out of my potty mouth.

I said maybe for an older kid. I don't think it's cute, though.

I don't mind it. I have a potty mouth. I'd rather my kids (or any kids) use replacement words rather than the actual word. I don't see the big deal. My Mom always hated it though!

I said maybe for an older kid. I mean, they're bound to start using stronger language one day - I wouldn't want to hear it coming out of a 3 year old, but I don't expect kids to wait until they're 25 to say it either.
