I need some music help... We met with our pastor this week and he gave me a booklet of some guidelines for our ceremony. There is a page of music suggestions from the organist. What is the difference between pre-nuptial and processional music? I know recessional is the music that is played as we are exiting the ceremony.
Here is her list... Pre-Nuptial Music "Jesus, Joy of Man's Desiring" "Larghetto" "Praise to the Lord, the Almighty" "Pastorale" "Trumpet Voluntary" "Canon in D" "Invocation" "Ode to Joy" "Arioso" "Suite in D Major" "Hymne" Processionals/Recessionals "Praise the Lord! Ye Heavens Adore Him" "Processional on Westminster Abbey" "Joyful, Joyful, We Adore Thee" "Trumpet Tune" "Processional in G Major" "Festival March" "Fanfare" "Psalm 19" "Toccata from Symphony V" I really would love to have the instrumental "Flightless Bird" from the Twilight soundtrack played sometime at the beginning, but not sure if the church will do it. Thanks for your help! |
