Dinner tonight I had a reduced fat southwestern salad from Trader Joes - it's less than 200 calories but it's really good. And I had a baked potato with it. I ate some jelly bellies later while I was watching basketball. I don't know what it is with me but I've had one heck of a sweet tooth of late.
It's so tempting to just throw caution to the wind now...oh it's almost vacation time - we leave Thursday so what does it matter if I start cheating now...but I'm not gonna. I'm going to keep my resolve until I hit the ground in Nevada. And then it's game on.

Does anyone try to maintain a diet on Thanksgiving? Or on vacation for that matter? I can't. I just can't. I'm gonna have to over the Christmas holidays - only because I'm going to be traveling for close to three weeks - that's way too much time to cheat. Fortunately my mom has a full on gym in her house and my brother is the other personal trainer in the family, so he can make me feel guilty and make me work out. But for the Thanksgiving weekend, forget it. Bring on the carbs!

I try every year to hold out on all that food and I succeed for the most part. I just hate how food is always shoved in your face, from the moment we arrive to when we leave. And I also hate that if I say no or don't take something, I feel so judged, like people aren't supposed to diet during the holidays.

Oh goodness do I hear you. Every year I say I'm going to be good this time and every year I fail miserably in a pile of cookies and fudge.
I'm really hoping I can at least beat the laziness trend and exercise this go around. Avoiding the fudge would be awesome, but at least if I follow my exercise plan I'll feel like I'm not totally sabotaging all my hard work.

I have it on good authority that fudge and Christmas cookies do not have any calories between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I plan to indulge, but RC has informed me that I can only do one a day. Heck I even have to make my Grandmother's secret recipe Yeast Rolls for thanksgiving for the family dinner. 2 batches. Yeah Carbs!

Breakfast was the same old, same old 260 calorie breakfast sandwich...I'm such a bore.

Just finished my workout -
I did a 20 minute workout from the Biggest Loser Cardio max video. It's one with Bob, so that's good, but there are so many freaking lunges I think my legs might crumble off. Then I did the Upper Body Jackie Warner workout. So I'm completely beaten down.
