Sweet! I'm glad I can still run for now! I imagine it might not be comfortable when I start to resemble a whale. I will have to look into yoga. My ballet video will work perfect too! They do some floor exercises on the back but I can just skip that part after the 1st trimester.

I did go to Zumba class with my sister on Saturday morning. It's amazing how different her class was from the one I take. It was pretty hard! Yesterday I ran 3.5 and lifted (chest and triceps, abs) Somehow I was at the gym almost 2 hours and it flew by. I didn't bring my gym stuff with me today so I guess I'm either skipping it or working out at home today.

Oh! So we went out for Halloween and my sister and I dressed as German Beer Frau. When the guys were at the bar getting drinks a guy walked up to us and asked if I was a runner or worked out because my legs looked great. I was really flattered - my legs are definitely my worst "part"! So I haven't lost much weight to speak of, and I'm still wearing the same size clothes, but maybe, just maybe I'm doing something right!
Sometimes you have to do a little BAD BAD BAD so you can be good again. At least that's my theory. I can't wait to cheat in 3 weeks and 2 days - I mean, come on! I have a count down!
I'm sure you looked great in your costume! I'm pretty sure you doing a lot right!

Danielle - the ballet videos would be perfect! As for the yoga, I know they make videos targeted for pregnant women, so you could probably pick up one of those for pretty cheap on-line...

Danielle - My sister worked out quite a bit while she was pregnant. No pressure there though hehe. Do what you feel comfortable with.

So far today I've had coffee...lots of coffee, 2 Fiber One pop tarts and tea. I'm trying desperately to stay away from chocolate right now.

I'm so sore from yesterday - but it's only really bad in my right leg. The left leg feels way better, as weird as that sounds. I walked for about an hour, but it was a real chore to be honest. I didn't even contemplate for a second going any further than I felt like I had to. I almost felt like my right leg was going to collapse under me! But I survived.

Breakfast was a 280 calorie breakfast sandwich - for lunch I had 50 calories worth of broccoli and a 280 calorie lean cuisine. I just ate a 100 calorie pack of Fudge Shoppe Fudge Grahams (yummy) and I'm going to have 75 calories worth of pineapple before I go to work.

Hi there! I can't believe I'm the first one to check in today. Yesterday was an ok day in the food department. My dinner was chicken breast and a few pita chips. A vegetable probably would have been a good idea Later I had a couple fig newtons and an apple with peanut butter. I did not work out one bit. I intended to take a stroll on the treadmill at home - I even changed into my workout clothes. eh, hem...I fell asleep on the couch...in my workout clothes...around 8pm. hehe...

Today for breakfast I ate 4 fig newtons. What can I say, I'm on a roll with the newtons. Guess there are worse things I could eat. Especially since AF is visiting again (wasn't that just last week???) For lunch today I had a salad with a crumbled up veggie burger on it, a few pretzels and a pear.

Now I'm off to the gym and then to Zumba!!! Can't wait to work out today!!!

Is it like the Fig Newton time of year or something? I saw them in the store the other day and hemmed and hawed over buying a package - I didn't end up doing it - but I stood there for the longest time thinking about how darn good those little newtons would be. Now I may not be able to resist. So chewy and delicious...Mmmmmmmm...
I am STILL really sore in my right leg! Grrr! I walked for an hour and a half anyway earlier today. Breakfast was a cup of special K fruit and yogurt and a 1/2 cup of lite soymilk. Lunch was a lean cuisine sandwich and some veggies. Then I had a totally yummy Special K bar - it was the "chocolately pretzel kind" - it was YUM!

Fig Newtons have always been a big part of my life Somehow I feel like it's better than eating an oreo....cause it's fruit and cake The Newtons Crisps are sooo yummy.

I have no idea what I did last night, but I'm limping around again. After work I went to the gym. My toe was a little sore but I had switched to my new sneakers so I figured that was all. So I ran 3 miles and when I got off my ankle hurt a little. I lifted and then went to Zumba class. By the end of Zumba, my foot near my heel and ankle were hurting quite a bit. I have no idea what I did this time!

Oh no! It's gotta be the new sneakers right? I hate new shoes. I always end up with like 800 blisters and a yearning for my early 20s when I could clop around in big unsupportive heels 24 hours a day with no consequence. Bygones.
I hope your feet and ankle feel better!! (Good workout yesterday though!)
I've never had Newton Crisps!

BTW, read through the entries that you ladies have posted, and I have decided that tomorrow is today, i am not going to wait any longer. I need to get myself healthy if I want to have a baby.

Plus I work in a Wellness Center, i should really be walking the walk a little better! I will teach step and aba bd back today, then I WILL go to the gym after work! It is about time that I make time for myself!
