Check this out! It's a little expensive, but how cool is it! I think this would be a great idea to personalize thank you cards...but we'll see when it comes around to actually buying them...anyways:

Those would be so cute on the response sets or at least on the thank you notes. But I just checked the price and it more than doubles the price of stamps. For that I could have wallet sized pictures of us printed out to enclose in our thank yous. Plus those won't get stamped, overlooked, and then tossed out.

That is SO COOL! I bet you could make something like that. It would take some time, but I don't think it'd be too hard...of course, you'd need a color printer and some photo paper, which at that point, it may be cheaper to buy them off the site...but still...you could just shrink down the pic (which is a LOT easier to do than to size up the pic) and copy and paste it again and again and again on a sheet of paper...you wouldn't even need photo paper come to think of it...print it up and cut it in little circles, or hearts, or squares...it would take some time...but it'd be pretty.

The personalized photostamps have recently come to Canada too! I think its awsome! But i'm not prepared to spend over a dollar a stamp. As it is 51 cents feels high!
I really like that photo confetti.... I've never seen anything. I think that would look really awsome on the tables at the reception. You could have photos of when you were kids to now. It would be a great conversational peice for the guests who have never met eachother!

I really need to put some though tinto this now. I love this idea nd I am sure thre are cutters out there that are for cutting circles or other shapes big enough for this idea. I suck at cuttting, couldnt cut a straight line if my life depened on it and that would be ALOT of cutting. But I want this soooo bad. So what do you all say, a cutting party ? I will supply the drinks.

Hey what about having your kids cut them out? I bet they would have fun and it would be a great way to get them involved.
But hey if your suppling the drinks what time do you want to get started. I have a long drive and would probably need to crash on your couch after this party!! LOL!!

Just, don't spray your food all over the screen...I want you to be able to read the rest of the board since you have to get your fill in now! :) And I don't think chili is very good for monitors...or keyboards...or anything else sitting in front of you for that matter...:)

All this talk of parties has me thinking ... we should have a real party! Since we all can't be in one place we could have one of those online live chat parties! I don't know is OneWed has a chat room, but I do ;) I think it would be fun, we could chat live and 'hang out'
So anyone interested? If so what would be a good time of the day? Evening works best for me. (since I 'should' be working during the day)
Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

I was thinking about proposing that as well! I'd love to get on live with everyone and work on stuff together...be it whatever! I'm all for it. Weekends are best for me as I work almost the entire week. Anytime on the weekends (except for next weekend, because I'll be out of town) and I'll be there! Well, evenings would probably be the best...but let me know in advance and I'll make plans to be there.

That is a great idea! Let's see, I think it would all just depend on the day for me. I work weekend days, but lately I've been able to sit at the computer (like now!) So as long as there are no major crisis' in the county, it works. Monday nights are great for me too! Keep us updated, and again, great idea!! I can't wait to talk LIVE!

Well, as long as L3vi won't be mad or anything and as long as this kind of thing won't break any rule here, we really don't need him to do anything. I can open a chat room on my website. I have one I use to talk to my clients all the time.

Thought I'd enter some more possibilities for the day and time, since we're a little stuck. I was hoping it would be on a weekend so that I could stay up late with almost everyone (I know that some people have to work early on the weekends to) but, as far as the weekdays go, I'm available Tuesday evenings (I don't work the long days on Tuesdays). Maybe this will open up something we could all get in on. Also, maybe we should check with l3vi and see if we could do it weekly or monthly at a set day and time that way, if someone misses one, they can get to the one the next week/month...just a thought. I noticed the group things too...I was wondering what they were for.

OK I said I would not be here tonight but I just came on to check mail and take a quick look in here for a min. and I am glad I did.
This sounds like alot of fun. I used to be in a quiz chat room but that has dwindled down a bit. I can't make the quizes any more so you all get stuck with me lol.
I am in, week nights are best for me. Nicholas is off on Tues. so I can't say I would promise to be here that night and he is off on Sat. so that night like tonight i might be able to make an apperance but not be here for long. Gotta spend what time I can with him.
But any other night is great for me. I am up untill he gets home any way. You name the day and time and I will try my best to be there.
I can't wait it will be so much fun. I have thought about this before when I have talked to a couple back in forth in messages and in a post. I often thought it would be better if we could get in live with one enother. ( I almost typed "in love" oopppss) I love you all but come on jeeesshh. :p

So not to change the subject but I was just thinking about the postage thing. I love the idea of putting your picture on a stamp but the price is too much for me. I love these but I have no idea where I got this picture and can't find it now.:bbconfused:

I think I will check out what designs they will have out for valentines day. I am sure they will have something I will like. In case you all don't know, you can order stamps online from USPS for the same price as the PO and there are usually more designs too. So check it out around valentines day.

Great idea Becky! I was looking at some flower ones if the envelopes are too heavy to send regular old 37-or 39 cents now and then I thought I'd do the breast cancer ones if they can go the regular rate. It'd be cool to put our pics on it, but you're paying almost a dollar a stamp for that...so I just don't think it's going to feasable with our budget.
I still like the confetti idea! Although I would definitely have to get a new color ink cartridge...my printer prints everything in tones of pink! :)

Speaking of Stamps again ... I noticed that the USPS is coming out with a new wedding stamp in March ...
Our Wedding
Brides to be, get ready. In early March, the "Our Wedding" stamp booklet, designed especially for mailing invitations and RSVPs, will be dedicated at Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City. The booklet contains 20 one-ounce and 20 two-ounce First-Class stamps. Apply the one-ounce stamp to the RSVP envelope to be enclosed with the wedding invitation. Apply the two-ounce stamp to accommodate the heavier weight of the wedding invitation with enclosures.
Both stamps feature an illustration of a white dove — a time-honored symbol of peace, love, and fidelity — and a heart, surrounded by calligraphic flourishes set against a lavender background (one-ounce denomination) and a light green background (two-ounce denomination).

Those wedding stamps were really pretty. Im not going to need the 2 ounce stamps though so it would be a waste of money for me. I did like the ones right below them. But I guess I need to finalize my invitations and get them ready to mail before I start worrying about stamps.
