What do you use to download music? FH won't let me do it illegally, so I have to find something legal, but preferably really cheap. I used to use Limewire, but I'm not sure if it's legal. I thought about iTunes, but isn't it 99 cents per song? I can't afford that. FH is also really worried about spyware/viruses. Help!

I don't buy music online, so I can't help you ;) But I know people that use Limewire, iTunes and even Napster, I think it is also .99 cents per song now.
There are plenty of sites out there, you just have to check them out. Good luck!

It depends. It's the same problem as "pirating" expensive software or downloading open software for free. Except I'm less adamant about the music.
There are websites where artists choose to make their music free to download, copy and listen to. (some artists have that preference) Most you will never have heard of, but lots are pretty good, so check those out. It's free, legal and interesting.
Other (borderline) option which I won't technically get into (because it's borderline) is a method akin to taking a tape and recording songs off the radio. Except done with a computer and youtube as the radio. (for example) This isn't technically "downloading".

I use Limewire, but no, I don't think it's legal.

My husband uses iTune when there is a song he realy wants. Most of the music on my computer we put there from our cd's. But once in a while we will want one so we gt it from iTunes. That is where we listen to all our music we put on our computer.

Actually I'm against illegal downloading, but I won't get into that. I never have downloaded music until recently, off of iTunes. Most of the songs on there are $0.99, some are $1.29. The good thing is, if you can't afford them, they accept PayPal...you get paid to post on here!
