Well, my day totally SUCKED! I woke up at 4 and couldn't get back to sleep, after not being able to get to sleep until well after my 11pm bedtime. When I don't get sleep I get cranky! So finally at 530 I give up and get in the shower. to get ready for work. Upon exiting the shower I realize that the towel is still in the linen closet in the hall way. So now I am tired and cranky AND drippy wet. I get ready for work and head out to the car thinking I at least have time to stop and Starbucks which on a day like today could have been my salvation. But then I get in the car and notice that it is really messy. Then I stop and actually look, someone broke into the **** car! Lucky for me the only thing I keep in there is an extra pair of glasses and a spare umbrella. So basiclaly they risked prison for like the $.35 in my ashtray. :censored: Well in this case they also left hte glove box with its little light open all night, what does that do, drain the battery! So now the **** car won't start. Of course by now my Starbucks time is gone and I am in the running late territory. So I wake up Sean who is totally unsympathetic ("I guess this will teach you to double check and make sure the doors are locked won't it?") Not the right hting to say to an angry woman. I was jsut going to have him help me jump my car. But I was so :censored: after that, that I just took his car. Smarty pants had to bus it to work today. So I get to work on time but all 3 blocks that I teach decided that today of all days of the year would be great to have "Let's be a pain in Miss Horvat's *** day!" Oh can you say 100 point quiz tomorrow? Long story short, I come back home. Only to find that one of the dogs had an accident before Sean left for work. Sean who is totally paranoid about dog pee couldn't just take 10 minutes with the rug scrubber. He has to spray this no vaccuum carpet foam with lilac scent. I suffer from very bad migraines that have strong scents as a trigger. By the time it took me to open the door, gag at the smell, and and walk from the living room to the kitchen my head was throbbing and my stomach churning. Regardless to say Sean will be riding the bus home from work now too. So now I sit here in my "clean air room" freezing to death because all the doors and windows are hanging open in the 35 degree weather while the fans are all on full blast so that I might be able to walk down the steps of my house into my own living room or kitchen. I would say, what else could happen but I don't think I would enjoy anything else that God could throw to me today. By the way, when he gets home from work, I am making Sean jump the car all by himself for my sheer amusement. I could out there and have it done in like 10 minutes but I don't htink that I will!

All Lacey, I'm sorry you had such a horrible day! I have been having problems sleeping too, which also makes me cranky so I know how that one goes. Was anything actually taken out of your car? LOL, you should keep the living room nice and cold tonight and let Sean sleep on the couch. That would teach him to mess with you!

No nothing was taken. I never leave anything of real value in there.

Oh Lacey......sorry to you had such a bad day. I only thought mine was bad but after hearing about yours, I really shouldnt be b****ing. Mines nowhere near THAT bad.
Brian has a thing about not cleaning up after pet "accidents". I told him that I have to clean up after 4 kids, a man and a cat. The least he could do is clean up after HIS dogs.
Hope your day gets better. Sounds like a Calgon and Ice cream night to me. Oh.....but the Calgon might make your migraine worse.

Sorry to hear your day was so crumy.
Locking the doors of your car doesen't always deter the little theives. Our whole treat was hit once. Mostly change and CD's taken. They popped the locks on every car they could. Did a little damage to the door and stearing column when they tried to steal the car. No luck though.
Mark acts like he doesent see it when the cat throws up. Bugs the :censored: out of me. But.... when i say 'Great, Dusty threw up." he will clean it up. mostly cause he knows i might just be sick afterwards.
Anyways.... take it easy tonight. Watch a good movie or read a nice book.

Bubble bath, candles, and a good book...that's my remedy for the stinky days. And your day today would definitely qualify as a stinky day.
Although, I think it was the day today...I can't say mine was as bad...I haven't been home so I don't know if the cat threw up yet or not. ALthough, I'm pretty sure Jason's quite attentive to that. Or maybe I just haven't given him enough time. One thing's for sure, when we get dogs...he's cleaning up after them!
Anyways, I got hung up on at work three times...and this isn't by customers, this is by people that the company I work for pays to deliver things...and the things weren't delivered! Instead of clarifying an address that was marked wrong, FedEx Freight just guessed and left it on the WRONG front porch...then got mad at ME when I call in and ask them to go get it and put it on the RIGHT front porch. They ask me for our account number when I'm trying to explain to them that we didn't ship it, it was just ordered through us and then they hang up on me. SAIA Motor Freight did the same :censored: thing! Only I was calling about an item that had been damaged for them...grr!
Then, to top it off, in my one hour and fifteen minute break between jobs I had so much to do that I couldn't go home and have dinner with my honey...I just want to go home and curl up in bed...today's been too long.
Hope my not-as-awful-as-yours day made you feel at least a little better. :)
