Ok, so FH's birthday is coming soon, in septemeber 15th to be exact. I want to do something sweet, nice and something that he will remember. He wants a body kit for our car and I would love to do that for his b-day, but there's no possible way for me to come up with $700. :( So, I am trying to think of something else.
So, here are my ideas let me know what you think!
Idea: Throw him a small at home birthday bash with his close friends there.
Food: Appetizers - Deviled eggs, brushetta, 7 layer dip, etc. (diy)
Drinks: Soda and alcohol
Cake: Darth Vader cake (diy)
Invitations to party: Event stubs (diy)
(Pictures below):
Cake: (I made this cake for someone's bday)

Here's the invites that I'll make or have ordered:

I'll be throwing is party on the 14th, which is a Friday...and then Saturday (15th) make him breakfast in bed...then take him out to a movie or ice skating, or both. Then that night if funds permit, take him to dinner and a show. I was thinking Blueman Group. I'm thinking this will range to close to $300....or a little more. For the actual gift, I was thinking of putting some money on a voucher for the car place that has his bodykit, that way we are closer to getting it.......
what do you all think? Any ideas to add?
