Picture upload - nothing works

I've searched the site, read as many posts about how to upload profile pictures, and have resized four different pics to match the 100 X 100 pixel size (then resized to match the 80 X 80 instructions found in posts), have uploaded two pics onto picturebucket, placed the url where the control panel says to...........and now after three hours, still get the File Upload Error message.

I have never had a problem uploading pics, vids, images anywhere. Feel like a complete idiot.

Anybody got any suggestions? Just in case - yes, I read all the posts I could find, and yes I searched the FAQ and still no help.........sorry. I know this comes up alot.

You mention 100 X 100 and 80 X 80 pixel size; are you trying to load an avatar?

To load an avatar go here - http://forums.onewed.com/profile.php?do=editavatar You can link to an avatar image on your own website or photo bucket, or you can load it from your computer. If loading from your computer you will have to make sure the file is 80 x 80 pixels and no more than around 19 KB. If you link to the image the KB restriction is not really an issue, but it should still be no more 80x80.

If this doesn't help you can post the image here and I can load it manually for you :)

Thank you so much for offering. I feel like an idiot over this. I've never had this much trouble getting an image to load ! Yes, I took it down to 100 X 100 as those are the directions for the direct file upload of a picture (not avatar) but I read in one of your earlier posts that the file should be 80 X 80 so went back and lowered it some more - and it still won't load.

Here are two of them I've tried to load. They attached to this just fine, no problem. Isn't that weird?

I didn't have a problem with these, they are sized fine for avatars or the personal picture.

Here, check your profile (http://forums.onewed.com/member.php?u=7226); is this what you wanted?

For attaching pictures to the posts; they don't have to be 80x80, they just have to be less than 39.1 KB. But the bigger attachements will only show as links. I have used www.TinyURL.com and the [img] tags to make my attached images show in the post.

You are so sweet to fix this for me ! I am wondering if it could be the browser I am using. I love firefox (mozilla) and have the most current release running - whatever the problem was, I do appreciate your help - again.

The pic looks good. Now to plan this shindig........yikes.
