My nephew, Conner (brothers baby, isn't married or with the mom),his mom called my mom early this morning and left a voice mail saying she was on a pay phone bc her phone is dead and she has a 102 fever and isn't going to work and to call her brother to bring her her cell phone charger. Well my mom couldn't get a hold of her all this morning.....she wasn't at her apartment so we knew something was up bc she is sick. Well she is in the hospital...her white blood cells are high or low (whichever is bad) and she has fluid in her brain!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I donno what that means but im scared, she is a year younger then me(she just turned 20) she is close with our family even though my bro hardly ever sees his son!! My mom is on her way to the hospital right now. Please pray for her!

just got a call, they did a cat scan & there is no fluid in her brain. her white blood count is crazy high....so they are doing a spinal tap (OUCH!!!) but I will keeo you posted.... she had to drive at 5am 45 m in. away to drop her son off at daycare and then she drove herself to the hospital bc she just felt soooo sick.

I'm so sorry. I hope everything turns out ok. That's good that she got herself to the hospital. Most people would have just gone home and in her case that might not have been the best idea.

the spinal tap came back fine....its not meningitis. They can't tell her why her blood count is like that so they put her on anitbiotics and sent her home....and they want to see her back in a few days. Thanks for your prayers!
