If you deal with Timeless Images located in Antelope California, be careful. They took our photos on july 17th, happily took payment and have since vanished. Sure their phone answers, but they never call back, then never answer emails and now its October and no wedding photos. They are basically, unreachable. Stay away from them. Of course is you know how to get in touch with them before we find a way to sue, let us know!

Contact the BBB they will help track them down and get it fixed sometimes.

going to be rough. Just did some digging on the SEcretary of State website and discovered their business license is suspended for failure to pay taxes or some other activity. We subsequently filed electronically in small claims court. Would just suggest everyone double-check their vendor before contracting for services.

You may want to look into filing a civil suit against them. Some type of charges could be brought against them. It may be in your best interest to check with the authorities.

A similar situation happend to a bride in my area and she contacted the local news and they contacted the photographer. The news did a short story on her and she got her pictures the next day from the photographer.

That's a great idea - they definetely won't want their name spead in the news in that manner!! :x We have an action reporter here in Louisiana that does that sort of thing - - I would recommend doing that . . . hey, what have you got to lose at this point??

Hope it works out!

well they finally answered my phone calls/emails with an email stating that photos would be here in a week to week and a half. I responded with "we are continuing with the small claims court action until photos are delivered as promised". Waiting on the court and server now.

In your contract with them, did it specify the time frame in which you would receive your proofs? If it did, they haven't held up their end of the contract, and I would still proceed with small claims court to get a refund of what you paid.

What reason did they offer for not responding from July until October? Short of death or a loss of files due to fire or theft, there is no excuse for this.

I pray you are able to get your pictures and that they are all you hoped for.

Man what a nightmare. I think it was a great idea to tell them you will continue with small claims court until they cough them up and they are in your hand. I would still though go further and seek damages if they were not honest about the deadline on how long before you would get your pictures. That is way to long to take.

So now will they charge you so much for so many pics?

We have also had problems with Timeless Images from the get-go.... Promised us two photographers at the wedding but only one showed up, missed several key photos, markedly fewer photos than promised and some photos that were taken were not in the proofs we received!

We have not been able to get a response to our emails and phone calls requesting an appointment to deliver our photo orders for our albums.. Right now, we'd settle for the negatives but are feeling somewhat skeptical.

We did visit her house once so we know where that is... if she still lives there!

Any info on how to proceed would be appreciated!

I would take her to small claims court. Court costs about $50, but if you win she pays your fees. Good luck!

As a wedding photographer, myself, I hate it when I hear stories like these!! I aim to make every client happy before the wedding, at the ceremony & afterwards! If for some reason I'm having a delay in getting their order to them . . . I am very upfront about the reason & stay in constant contact!

I wish you the best of luck getting your images from this "crook". I'd take it to small claims court if I were you.

I got married in June and have yet to receive my photos. I've been in contact with 4 other brides that are having the same problem. We definitely have enough for a class action. Small claims doesn't work becuase she doesn't show up.

I was one of the bridesmaids in a "timeless images" wedding. We have tried all of your suggestions nothing has worked. The bride also got an email from her. She probably cut and pasted the thing to everyone. So we decided that I would call her posing as a interested bride. I called her she wanted my business, wanted to meet with me show me her portfolio. She has MOVED so her antelope address isn't valid. She wouldn't let me meet her at her home. So even thought her license is out dated she is still taking new clients.
I wish you the best of luck to everyone.

If she will meet you at a location then you have the 'option' to follow her back to her home or get the license plate number and call DMV and get the address or insurance provider then call them and get the contact information! ;)

If she agrees to meet with you, have the bride "lurking" in the designated meeting place to confront her!

We notified Call3 (KCRA-TV's consumer reporter) and they indicated they are well aware of Timeless Images but have not been able to get any resolution to complaints... I think they can't get a hold of the owner either...

Is anyone pursuing this whole thing further? Sounds like we have a few folks that should band together.

I think the photographer's apology on her website is a bunch of ****!

I'm a reporter at KXTV Sacramento (ABC TV affiliate) investigating the complaints surrounding Timeless Images, Inc.

We ran a story Tuesday, Dec. 21 available here:

http://www.news10.net/storyfull1.asp?id=8823

We know of ten small claims cases filed against the photographer so far, and have a list of an additional half dozen or so couples who have not filed but are victims. We're asking any other victims to contact us.

We're attempting to achieve some sort of resolution with the photographer and are continuing our research for a follow-up report.

You can reach me at:

Thanks.

I was totally scammed by Timeless Images. I found out through public records that the owner and her partner work together to do this over and over again! Between the two of them they have operated under several different company names and have several counts of fraud and breech of contract filed against them. As soon as they have so many lawsuits against them, they close down one photography business and start another photography business.
They change their phone numbers, move and avoid emails after the receive payment, which they demand in full up front. They are legitimate scam artists!
I am out my money, but I would love to make sure that they can’t do this to anyone else. And I’d love to see them punished for all the years of crime they have committed.
George Warren, please contact me so I can tell you my story. I am in contact with two other brides and one photographer they have scammed money from also.

This sounds like something the State Attorney General should be looking into. This is going beyond breach of contract and now sounds like fraud. If you signed a contract with them and have a paper trail, I would still file suit but I would also speak to the Attorney General to get charges filed
