So, the DJ that I am currently booked with, but only put a $50 deposit down it, is a co-worker of mine. After talking with a few people that know him more personally and have had him DJ for them are telling me to cancel and go with someone else because of the following:

1. He is way too expensive
2. He is shady
3. He will be hunting out the single females and trying to get with them

Basically, I was told that I could go with another DJ they are raving about. They are telling me that this other DJ is going to be alot more inexpensive and will do a better job and will not try to mack with the ladies. I know from rumors and personal expierence of this DJ I am currently with that he is kind of man hoochie. Also, I became leary since he was suppose to be my relief on a shift one night and work and he never showed up!!! at work, never called anyone!!! So, I am starting to lose faith and trust in my current DJ.

My whole thing is, I am looking at other DJS and prices, and their services. I just don't know how to break it to him if I end up going with another DJ. I man how would I go about breaking the contract with him if I choose not to go with him. I want to make sure on our wedding day that he is going to be there for the music, NOT the ladies and alcohol. I do know at the one wedding I was at that he DJed that he was consuming alcoholic beverages and was 'macking' on the ladies.

I am in a way starting to regret that I even thought of going with him for a DJ. I know all I did was basically fill out some paperwork saying my date of the wedding and location, and just sent a deposit. Other than that he hasn't contacted me or nor have I given any more money to him....

I feel like I just rushed into things. I am in a pickle......

This other DJ that people are recommending will possibly give me a discount because I work with his father. This DJ was even invited down to Panama and South Beach for a 3month Djing spring break gig. My sources are also telling me that he has even better and more updated equipment and will not be macking on the ladies nor mooching off the open bar....

Please help...!!!:worry: :worry:

I would just tell him that you found someone else. You have enough time to meet some other dj's that you might like better.
