Hi,
This is a question for everyone here. If you could help me, I would greatly appreciate it.
Would you ever consider wearing a wedding dress that is not white? Imagine a dress just as eloquent and elaborate as a white wedding dress, but in color. Not a simple colored gown, but one where there would be no confusion as to who is the bride.
The market in American doesn’t really exist for colored wedding dresses, but if it did, would you look at colored dresses?
Thanks for your help.

Actually, we had one for sure bride that went with a Red wedding dress. I just love Red wedding dresses...I think the trend of color wedding dresses are actually on the rise..They are incredibly elegant and are in most cases more beautiful that your traditional white/ivory wedding gown. If I had to do it over again and if my FH wasn't so traditional I would have opted for either a blush (pink) gown and at least considered the Red!!

I understand that the european market is filled with dresses in all colours. I can understand how some might not want to break with tradition but I would definitely consider something in colour!

I would consider something in color. Times are changing, however my father refused to have me in anything but red. He wouldn't even let me carry a red bouquet

I am definately considering a full colored dress. I am not really traditional, nor have I had the best luck at the white dresses I have tried on. I am going all pink, including DIY pink veils with crystals. :D

JMO, but I would not consider a colored dress. But I think they do look lovely, just not what I would want. Personally, I have been dreaming since I was a little girl to wear a white wedding dress, I like the tradition of white dresses.

For my wedding, white was the only options, I wouldn't have felt like a Bride. BUT that doesn't mean that I don't think someone else couldn't look totally beautiful in a colored dress. It just wasn't for me.

I'm wearing pink. I don't like how the white dress victorian tradition has flooded the market to the point where every wedding gown is virtually interchangeable. Everyone wearing the same thing.

I'd definitely go for a colored gown if I didn't have to worry about hearing about it from FMIL all the time. Some people don't look good in any shade of white, so a colored gown would be a great option.
