I am so torn on what to do. I dont have a backless dress but it is below the bra line. I am not comfortable with wearing the strapless and backless bras. I always want a body shaper and thinking of a corset but need one with a low back. I would like no boning as it doesnt bend well when you sit. it is hard to find them with out the boning.

What do you plan to do? Anyone try other options and have a good or bad comment on it?

When I was shopping for undergarments to go with my wedding dress, I looked at several department stores, but I was most impressed with what I found at Victoria's Secret. They have several types of backless bras, even some that had a lot of support and seemed to do a little body-shaping at the same time (they came down low on your waist). VS also had some corsets and body socks (not sure what they call them, it's been a couple years since I was in there shopping for these things). If there is a Victoria's Secret store in your area, it would be worth it to go in and talk to them about what you're looking for. I wound up buying my undergarments at the shop where I got my wedding dress, so that's always an option. What about dressmakers and tailors who do alterations? I wonder if they could customize an undergarment for you. Best wishes!

My bridal shop had a few different strapless bras that I could try on.

The ended up with a Le Mystere (http://www.lemystere.com/) L'Image Collection Bridal Seduction 2355 it comes with small straps that are removable.
When I went for my finally alteration my seamstress say she could sew the bra into the sides of the dress so it would not show or rise during the wedding.

I was so comfortable during my wedding! And afterward, I just cut the two threads that teld it into my wedding dress so I can wear it again.

I buy majority of my bras and all my tank tops at VS. However, at times they really do not have much of a selection. :)

Be sure to try it on with the dress at your next fitting, to be sure that it is comfortable and fits right. :D

Yeah I dont get the dress until Jan. and the wedding is Feb 14th LOL I have also read else where about sewing in cups into the dress and just snipping a few stitches to get them out after the wedding so you can pack away your dress. That sounds like a nice idea. It is just hard to tell until I try it on when it gets here. The one I tried in the store was to small so it was hard to see how low the b ack really is.
