Well this week certainly has been one for DIY ideas and crafts for me.
If none of you know, right now, the dollar tree *at least all 10 around me* have a wedding aisle. They have garters, thank yous, bubbles, ribbon with cute sayings "thank you for sharing in our day" was the one i bought for favors i might have. They have alot of stuff that might help with your crafty stuff my fellow DIY queens-
In fact i bought things i might not even need, but for a $ it can be wasted.
I bought a garter and then bought some creative buttons at Joann's fabrics that are poker and gaming theme *FH is in the gaming industry* and i have some extra "gaming" fabric from a pillow i made him. I am hot gluing the fabric (too hard to sew a garter thats all ready together) and adding some of the buttons i bought- total cost was about 4 dollars. :)
ALSO--- another exciting kind of diy. My cousin , who many of you had read in my other posts, had a 100k + wedding- bought a ringbearer pillow and a flower girl basket for about 80bucks. She never used them. totally forgot to give it to her kids.last night she asked if i wanted them. Her items are champange and that is one of my colors. To make it more personalized im adding nice red silkish fabric to it to match my colors (i have this fabric too)- either way its a great deal and another project to get out of the way :)
