We have a thread for our rings...I haven't seen one for our guys'.

What kind of wedding ring does your FH want?

My FH wanted something with a little 'bling'...but didn't want stones. So he chose a faceted tungsten ring. I just ordered it today. I like!

This is DH's. He really wanted platinum, and something a little different. So, we searched and all, and this is what he chose. It looks really good on him as well, so that helps.

DH wanted a light ring so we went with a light titanium, he loves it and it took him awhile to get used to it but he never takes it off now. It has a black ring around it and is just plain silver.

Mine doesn't wear jewelry, so he is thinking about getting it tattooed...
I'm not sure how I feel about that....

I have no problems with tattoos, as I have a few myself but.... I don't know..

he won't wear a wedding ring? My hubby doesn't wear jewelry either until his wedding ring. He says his sales at this work have gone up since having it on..haha

well, it's not that he won't.. because he will if I want him to.. he just works a lot with his hands (outside of his 9-5 job he does landscaping on the side) and I guess he is worried that he would lose/break it...

that is funny that his sales have gone up after wearing it...

DH is a truck driver and really hated wearing it at first, but he is so used to it now that he does not even think twice and says he forgets that it is on his hand! So cute

My FH golfs just about everyday and will not wear it when he golfs...so I am trying to get him a good nice, cheap ring! I thought it wold bother me but it doesn't really! He can wear it at work though!

I can't wear my ring at work either - I'm a house painter. But as soon as I hop out of the shower, I'll be putting that ring right back on everyday! :D

FH wants a tungsten ring, but so far all I've found are very plain. I love the faceted one TangoWedding posted...where did you find that? He wanted one with the braiding, but since tungsten is so hard to work with, I doubt we'd ever find that.

I have been searching Tungsten all morning....check out Ebay they are a great deal and they have TONS!!!! I have yet to see a full Tungsten braided, but they do have some mixed ones with braides!

The only thing I am worred about is the sizing, they CAN NOT be sized!!! So I need to make sure I get his size well and make sure the place has a return policy!!!

We found the ring for $350 on a couple of sites. Then found it here (http://www.titaniumkay.com/GENICANTHUS-Tungsten-Carbide-Faceted-Wedding-Ring-P102248.html) for $78. They have a bunch. :D

aw what are your pet names?! We want to get something engraved for an anniversary. Does it matter how thin the ring is to get it engraved?

I'll have to take a pic of the rings when I get home. Scott will wear his ring on our wedding day and then he'll put it in the ring box for special occasions. He is a folder operator and can't wear jewelry on his hands because the risk of him catching his ring on a roller or something is too great and if I had to choose between him wearing the ring and losing a finger or not wearing the ring, I choose, DON'T WEAR THE RING!!!! HaHa...our bands match. Two tone with small diamonds.

my mom used to work at an airline and had to put the luggage under the plane. And she was sitting on this belt thing that you put the luggage on and it moves it onto the plane, and they were done doing that so she was just sitting on it and this guy(her friend) came and scared her and pushed her feet up(just messing with her) and she put her hand behind her to kinda catch herself and her ring finger on the rigth hand got cut off ant the tip, she said it was the worst pain she has ever experienced. And then it got infected bc they left a piece of gauz in it or something and she almost had to get MORE cut off.

Our rings actually match too. It really wasn't intended that way...just worked out that way. Bruce is a farmer, so doesn't wear his ring to work, but does anytime he's not working. He loves his ring and wears it more than I thought he would.

Yeah, thicker rings are better if you're engraving a lot of words. Our pet names are "Toots" and "Babe". :D

Is it worth buying a tungsten ring for FH online than in the stores?? I mean he has been putting this off.... and I want to get him one. I guess what could it harm to get it online right???
