My dream dress!

This one was 400 euros to start out with, and on the store's website, they say they're having a summer sale, so I'm going to call and see if it's on sale!!

It's by mariagesetmariage.com - I can't seem to find any collector info on it - I guess they have seamstresses who work exclusively for their store. It's from the 2007 collection and I called the store about the sale, and the lady said they didn't have any more in Rennes.
So I called Nantes (which is like 2 hours away from where I live) and they have one left, which is 1 size too big but they can do the fitting for me for about 100 euros, and the dress is on sale at 275 euros. So I still get a better deal. I'd better go tomorrow though.

I tried it on a few months ago but I'm only finding out today for sure WHEN we're getting married so I didn't get it. It's kind of strange to say this, but it actually looks better on me than on the model in this picture, I think because of my skin tone and choice of accessories (long gloves look better, and a short veil really compliments it well).

Thanks everyone. Yes I've tried it already. I'm actually going to just ask for them to mail it to me because I'm having trouble with my car and don't think I can go in person. For the touch ups, one of our neighbors is a seamstress.

Only "problem" is the accessories - I'm going to have to buy them somewhere and I don't know how it is over there, but here you're kind of snubbed if you don't get everything in the same store.

We have a seamstress neighbor, who said she would fit it to my size for about 25 euros - much less than the 95 the store is asking for!

I don't even have to drive down there right away I can just send in the reservation cheque and go get it whenever it's most convenient for me :D

Here is a picture of me at my tryout. I really don't want to risk having people I know see it before the wedding, so I'm only leaving this image on the internet for 1 day. (seems like not too much of a risk hehe)

I bought the gloves, but not the veil. I think I'm not going to have a veil. I'd rather have either a tiara or a pretty comb with beads in my hair.

Thanks everyone! It's not fitted yet, it'll look even better when the seamstress is done with it :)

I overrided the picture with one of my shoes :p

As I said I'm nervous leaving that picture online more than a few hours...
Don't want anyone I know to see it (would be bad enough if people I know saw my cake topper and my shoes lol)
