What is photobucket?

I went to there website and was wondering what it really is. It kind of looks like Myspace which i'm really not interested in being involved in. Can anyone tell me or help me w/ what this is?

From what I understand it is not really like MySpace; it is a free image and video hosting site. Alot of people use it to share pictures with friends and family as well as to post on forums and such.

Maybe some other members that have actually used it can give you a better picture of what it is and how it works.

truthfully i don't know what all it contains. i use it for photo hosting only. i send some pictures to family and friends this way by slideshow. and i also use it for forums and blog to post my pictures from photobucket to them. i kknow they have this new thing where you can post straight from there onto my space but a bulletin of your pictures. i used it for the first time last night and it was pretty cool. it went out to everyone on myspace friends list.

i only use it for photo hosting as well. you can make cool slideshows and its a good place to get URL for any picture you might need. you upload it to there and can get different formats for different sites- myspace, forums, etc etc

Also they have a search option where you can kind of "google" the pictures on the site- for example typing in "wedding" you would see people who saved their picture under the name wedding but you would also see any icons or anything containing the word wedding and then you can save them and use them however you want.

I didnt know they had other features but its a cool place to back up your pictures- you can make different folders- Technically you could tell family members what your link is and they could search all the pics. like an online photo album

I don't think it is anything like myspace. At least as far as I have seen, maybe I just haven't went very far into the site... I just use it to upload pictures so I can post them here :)
