Here are a couple of poems I wrote for my honey a few years ago. I was going through some old things today and I found it ... it is kind of cheesy but I thought I'd share ...
Love at first glance?
From the moment I first saw you I was drawn to you.
What was this power you had over me, I hadn't a clue.
Was it the moon and the stars in just the right place?
Just the thought of your kiss made my heart seem to race.
Maybe twas your eyes that somehow intoxicated me.
Or was it your smile, or something else I couldn't see.
Could such a thing as this be possible, love at first glance?
I had all but given up on love, was this my second chance?
I felt a comfort in your voice, once finally we'd spoken.
Like you knew my pain and my heart had been broken.
We would talk for hours about our hopes and our dreams.
Were we meant to find each other, perhaps yes, so it seems.
You were different, not like the other men of my past.
We wanted the same thing, real love that would last.
I knew this was special from the moment we kissed.
Could it be that perhaps true love just might really exist?
-----------------------------------
For My Love
I often wish for some greater words than “I love you”
For these pale in comparison to my feelings so true.
You are a wondrous gift from God; I'll always treasure.
My love runs so deep I could not begin to measure.
You opened my eyes to what I’d been blind to see.
My heart thirsted for love, and you’ve quenched me.
I find a new reason to love you, each and every day.
Because of you, I know the true meaning of love today.
Thank you for loving me that special way you do.
I hope that you know my love to you is just as true.

Thanks Kelli! Sometimes I wish I could make them better, they are not formal or great poems, but they at least have feeling in them I guess ;)
Sometimes I just think about stuff in general and I write my feelings out ... sometimes a poem comes out of it, sometimes not.
Best wishes,

I wrote our vows and was pretty impressed with them by the time I was done. I can't say they're original, but I think they're pretty.
I, Jason, take thee Kellianne to be my wife. When all the world is dark, I will shine for you. When all the music is gone, I will play for you. When all is lost, I will find it for you. I will laugh with you in joy and cry with you in sorrow. I will love, honor, and cherish you all the days of my life. This I promise you.
And visa versa...

This is nice but I thought when you write your own vows that you were suppose to write what you say to him and he was to write what he says to you? ;)
I wanted to do that when I got married but my DH didn't want to ... he isn't very articulate with his feelings ... But he is good with finding the good cards and such ;)

We decided that we didn't want the traditional vow so we were going to write our own, but we got to thinking about the stress it would cause and figured we'd come up with something we would both say that was simple and easy to remember. I thought about it and wrote about a million different things and he and I picked which one we liked the best...ok, so we cheated on the whole writing your own vows thing...but I like them and he likes them so it's ok :bbmrgreen:

I wish I could get that from my DH ... I used to get it more when we first got together. He use to tell me I had 'intoxicating eyes' Oh well, he does nice things when it counts I guess. I still love him ;)

Nicholas has been here for about 10 months now and we have been back together for a year already. Just last ngiht he asked me if i was tired fo him yet or sick of him. I said no. He said me either i dont get it. I should be used to living with you and sick of you a little ( he was joking of course ). He has a hard time leaving for work when I am home and better yet when i get to stay in bed and has to kiss me bye while i am half asleep.

My honey and I have been together for going on 7 years and married for going on 1 year. We have been living together for almost 6 yrs. I still miss him when he is gone and I still love to feel his arms around me at night when we go to bed ... I like it when he will call me when we are apart just to say he is thinking about me.
We joke sometimes and say to each other "Do you love me?" or "Did you miss me?" It is kind of fun and nice at the same time.
Sometimes when he leaves for work or something early and I am still in bed, he laughs at me later about kissing me bye and/or talking to me while I am half asleep ;)
Ok, now I am rambling too.

Silly I know ;)

Hey I'm all about being silly. When I have to get up in the morning and he still gets to stay in bed, I usually hit the snooze button a million times and crawl back into bed with him. Then, about five minutes before I have to go, I get up and ready. It's so hard to get out of bed when he's in there half asleep and all cute like.
We've been together for over a year, engaged for just over a year, and living together for more than seven months and everytime I look at him, I fall in love all over again. He's wonderful.

I do the same thing with the snooze button. I climb back in and snuggle up to him. I hate to leave him in that bed looking so sweet and comphy. And when I do snuggle up to him I can here him make a slight noise as he notices me holding him so tight. He loves it and grabs my hands and holds them around him.

I love that in the middle of the night, my FH will pull me up real close to him in his sleep. It's like he absolutely needs me to be there...and that feels good.

I find myself having a hard time falling asleep when he is not in bed with me. I may be dead tired but i will not be fully alseep untill he gets home and comes to bed. Lately I am up when he gets home so we can see each other for a few mins and then i can fall asleep easier. He will wait till i am asleep then he will play his vidoe game or watch TV. He works different hours so is not always ready to sleep.

Aww, my honey will sometimes roll over and put his arm around me ... it is nice to feel like he is thinking about me even in his sleep ;)

We are kind of like this too ... I have a hard time sleeping without him beside me. Even when he works at home he usually stays up later than me so I go to bed alone :( When he works late I can't even think about sleep until he gets home. Although, sometimes I will fall asleep on the couch and then when he gets home we will go to bed together.
I can't drink at home when he isn't there or when he is working in the shop at the house, I don't know I guess I just feel like something will happen and then I won't be able to drive.
Ok well, I guess that last part was sort of 'non-sequiter' *hehe*

I don't sleep well if he's not in bed with me either. We tend to go to bed together unless he's really tired on nights when I work late; sometimes he'll go lie down without me and I'll join him when I get home. The first night we spent in bed together, he stayed up all night and watched me sleep. I wasn't feeling well that night and my cure for not feeling well is falling asleep, so I couldn't stay up and talk to him like I had wanted to. He stayed awake the whole night and made sure that I was comfortable. :) He's so sweet.
