Have any of you ever heard of Celebrity China & Crystal or any free trips given away by them? I was called by these people saying that we won a 3 night stay somewhere from a drawing I entered at a bridal show. I know that most of these are a load of bull. They said that I can come by the office to pick up the vouchers and get any more information so I was just wondering if any of you have heard of them because I don't even know if I'm going to bother with looking into it more.

They had mentioned something about sitting through a cooking demo while we were there. I'm thinking that they are going to try to sell us some junk cookware, Regalware, is the brand I think.

Things like that always scare me. Basically, they call everyone who entered and get them to participate in their...whatever it is. I worked for a modeling agnecy who did the same thing - anyone who was interested, we 'interviewed them' and tried to talk them into taking modeling classes. It's just like a time share thing - they verbally annoy you for 5 hours until you give in and buy something so you can escape. LOL

If you would have 'won' something, they would have said congrats and double-checked your address so they could send your prize.

I got one similar..It was a free 3 night honeymoon for coming and getting them to cook a free meal and demonstration..I turned them down pretty quick. Sorry I couldn't give you anymore help, but I wasn't about to go and find out what the hitch was. Just whatever you do don't give out any credit card information or anything personal like that!

It is all legit. Yes. They want you to come and sit through a demonstration. I went and for going through the demonstration, I got a set of 24K crystal toasting flutes (The ones I used in my wedding) and you get a free hotel stay. The cruise is legit too, but the catch to getting the cruise is that you have to buy so much in the cookware. It's not junk cookware though. It is quality.

Whether you go or not is a personal choice, but I thought I would let you know that it is legit.

Yup, I got a call on that as well. I didn't go, but it is very safe and OK to go. Its just a thing about cookware, not sure what it does or what the catch is really.. But my brother went and it was OK they said.

I've went to them and the trips aren't worth it. I did buy some of the pots and pans and they are amazing :grinhappy:
