What is your favorite or ideal summer holiday/vacation?

I chose the beach (not that we get to go very often) but I do not like to just bask in the sun or anything. I guess I actually prefer the beach in the spring. But I wouldn't want to go anywhere cold.

Anywhere with the ones I love, be it friends or family. Thats the ideal vacation for me.
But if it was me alone, always wanted to try Alaska.

Honestly, the best summer vacation is somewhere new, that I can relax and do nothing, and do lots of stuff depending on my mood. My only other requirement for a great vacation, is having DH with me!

give me a peacful lake and a cabin or camper and i am in heaven. but gotta have my hubby and daughter or not much fun. and of course throw in the fishing poles and then i am really in heaven.

I said beach! Nick and I go to Hampton Beach in NH every Augsut and we LOVE IT! Best summer vacation!

We love to camp and so do the kids! There's nothing like going to the cabin or tenting it for a weekend get away!

i chose beach,even though I do not swim in ocean water, and I am sooo over being so hot. It is just so HUMID here in Tennessee, i can't stand it! I want it to be fall. But when winter comes I will be wishing I was at the beach.

I really miss going to the beach every summer. My family and I would go to Myrtle Beach every summer around my birthday. I miss that a lot. This summer we won't be able to do anything with just buying the house. But next summer, I would like to head back east for the beach.
