I'm Married!

Ok So I did it! I'm married! The wedding was beautiful and everything went relatively smooth. I had a disaster of a photographer though so I hope I get the pictures that I paid $5000 for. She was HORRIBLE! She screamed at guests when they would accidently walk in front of guests and forced me to stay outside for more pics when it was 115 degrees and I was wearing a corset. The lady at the venue finally saved us by telling her she wasn't allowed to take anymore pics outside and I had to tell her and my MOH to keep her away from me. It almost ruined the entire day because I was so sick from the heat and stress. My gown was beautiful but i should have changed at the reception because i couldn't eat much and I by the very end of the night I felt like i was gonna pass out or throw up. Besides those two messes (oh and the roses were pink instead of peach) the wedding was gorgeous. We had more guests than we thought (about 160) and everyone had a blast. I had so much fun and my Husband now even had tears in his eyes when we were reading our vows to each other. When, and if, I get the pics I will post the website and password up so everyone can check them out. For now we are leaving tomorrow morning for our honeymoon in Hawaii so I won't be on here for about a week and half. That photographer sounds scarily similar to the photographer at Chad's brother's wedding. He was a yelling screaming mess. However the pictures turned out fantastic and I'm sure that yours will be as well. Congrats on the new happy marriage and have a fantastic honeymoon!! :heart:

That is just horrible about teh photographer, I would give her a bad recommendation if you are able to, that is just unacceptable.

Reguardless it sounds like you had a beautiful wedding. Can't wait to see your wedding pictures!

Sorry to hear about your bad experience with the photographer and the flowers not being right. Hope you still get good pictures!

I always try to look at things like "It could have been worse" ... At least you still ended up married right ;)

Oh, I'm late reading this. I'm so sorry your photographer was so mean. I always wonder how people like that stay in business!! I'm glad someone finally made her let you out of the heat.

Have a lot of fun on your honeymoon. I'm sure you're already gone and won't see this till you get back...but I hope it is a fantastic time!! Enjoy!!

In regards to Rev. Matty's comment: I really don't get your pesimism. Well, he was raised by a father who still after 20+ years of marriage still opens doors and stuff so I have not doubt at all that Craig will be the same way considering his teacher. It's been about two weeks and so far so good, but if he does change I will give you the benefit of the doubt. Plus I've known him for over 5 years and knew him when he was in another relationship and he has always been a gentleman.
