Okay, so my mom and sister were addressing my bridal shower invites tonight and we came across a small problem. We are doing a honeymoon registry, but not a lot of people coming to the wedding are on the computer regularly, so they probably won't come across our wedding website or check their email to see that we have registered for a honeymoon. So, I want to put something in our shower invite that says what our wedding website is and that we registered at honeyfund.com. We would just write it on the invite but there isn't room. Would it be weird or rude if I added my own little piece of paper (along with the target and bed bath and beyond inserts that say we are registered there) that let people know about them? Does anybody have any other suggestions? Does anybody have any ideas on what I could put on the paper if you guys think it would be ok?

We were thinking of something like "For more wedding information visit our website at ...." or "Please visit our website www...." then put like a line or something to seperate then put something cute (if I can find something) about wanting help paying for their honeymoon or something.

What do you guys think?

Not really. On the bridal shower invite its fine to include honeymoon registry information. (Because you arent hosting it) so what you can have them do is say. "The couple would love the gift of a beautiful honeymoon. They are registered at honeyfund.com" Or something like that, this way people know you are registered for a honeymoon and that you would prefer cash to help pay for it.

I think with the shower it's the one time your family can get away with mentioning the honeymoon registry. Your not saying it and it's not the wedding invite so I think IMO that's ok. Ont he wedding invite, thats' a whole other story. I hate getting an invite that says "monotary gifts only!" or stuff like that. But with the shower invite I don't this it's bad etiquette for it to be mentioned.

My sister just printed up little slips that had my 3 registries on it. Target ,Macy's and Honeyfund. It worked out well I got gifts from all three and there weren't a bunch of things falling out of the invitation when they opened it. :grinhappy:
