Gosh ! 2 days ago I told my bf that I'm tired of the organization and that we should fly to Las Vegas to get married and have our picture taken with an Elvis Presley look-alike lol It would sooo be us :)
By the way, I love your website !
We're going to staying in a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for a week. Since we're getting married in the winter Chad wanted to travel somewhere to see snow since he has never seen more than an inch of it, but we got this vacation as a gift and are very grateful for it!

We're going to Hawaii for 11 days! Three days in Ohau and 8 days in Kauai. My mom had a lot of American Express points so she got us two first class plane tickets. I'm so excited cuz I've never flown first class! We've never really had a vacation as just the two of us so we're both looking more forward to this than the actual wedding itself. :D
I've never flown first class either. Haha...I would be pretty exciting about that too!!

We're not going on a honeymoon. No time or money (although we're going to Atlanta the weekend before -- gift from our Canuck friends). We might do something the next Feb or March.

We are thinking about going to Disney, too! Did you guys stay in Disney? Was it really expensive? Did you need 9 days, or do you think that we could get as much out of it in a shorter time? I have so many questions!!

It depends on how much we have.. We are going to try for a cruise. If we can't afford that, its upnorth for us! lol I have a feeling we will be going to Makinaw or some such..

All your honeymoons sound so great !
For those who aren't going yet, I bet you will be able to any time this year or next year :)
The distance or length of stay doesn't matter much as long as you can relax for a few days away from everything with your beloved husband :)
From Paris, we have about 22 hours in the sky to go to Tahiti so we won't be able to fly 1st class even though I would love to lol Too expensive !
We also have a Disneyland in Paris but I'm sure it's not as great as the ones you have in the US. Our park actually might close because people stop going ... Since it opened, it NEVER paid pack what it cost, can you believe it !
Anyway, I don't see any newly weds coming to Paris for their honeymoon, I would have been happy to help them ! :)

Kevina nd I are looking at Cuba right now. I really need to get my passport first though! But Cuba is VERY cheap for Canadians, and it's very pretty too! I saw a coupels getaway for $800 each all inclusive and that includes tax!

Scott and I are going on a 7 day Caribbean cruise. It actually has to be paid off by this coming Tuesday...blah, haha. We are excited to go...we've never been on a vacation that didn't involve family. We are looking forward to some nice quality time with no cell phones or any real obligations...we will miss our dogs terribly though.

I had never heard of Vanuatu but the website link you gave is very mouth watering !
NIK - We will miss our pets as well ... We have 2 Birman cats that stay with my bf's brother everytime we have to be away. It's too hard !
Tootsie - I've never been to Marseille or even the Riviera but it's also a dream for me :)
I would say the chepeast for French newly weds would be to go to North Africa like Morocco or Tunisia ...
And also in Turkey, Greece ... Also, Mauritian islands and Seychelles are less expensive than Tahiti for the same sceneries but I'm very attached to Tahitians' culture ... :)

We're not sure exactly the locations yet, but here's what we're doing.
We're doing the honeymoon right after our wedding somewhere relaxing but close to home (less than 2 hour drive, probably), where we'll hang out for a couple of days and just be together.
Then we'll have the REAL honeymoon (we're looking at both Tahiti and Italy right now) on our 1-year anniversary. His parents are paying for the honeymoon, so we thought we'd take advantage of it as a gift for surviving the first year. lol
The way we're thinking about it is...we'll be spending so much money up to the wedding that we'll be broke when it's over. That year will give us some time to recoup. Besides, when else in our lives will we get a free vacation anywhere in the world and before we have kids?
:D
