cheap dresses??

okay there is this website .. kannaca. supposidly they are dresses that MIMICK the style of other dresses such as alfred angelo, davinci etc etc. has anyone ever used it? They are super cheap and someone on another site said they used it and loved it.. looking for some more feedback. Just wondering because im going to start looking for dresses i like right after i get to my goal weight :)

Sorry I've never heard of the site, but I looked at it and the dresses look really nice. The only thought that crossed my mind is that in person the fabric and quality may not look as good. It just depends on how picky you are about little things like that.

yah thats my only concern because i really want beading on the dress.. EKKKK scary things ya know?? hopefully somebody will say "they suck" or "i loved them" and get it out of the way :)

well heres the good thing i found out. The designer is on EBAY!!! gotta love ebay- there are toooons of people who have bought their wedding dress so i sent out 25- yes 25 and i will send out more, emails to those members that have done it recently and asked "did your wedding pass, how did the dress hold up, what is the material, does it look cheap??" etc.
I got once response back already and she did nothing but RAVE about the dress and sent me pictures of her in it - it looked fantastic. SOOOO the good news is that this place pretty much knocks off these dresses in a factory in china and they are made out of good fabric (i dont know about beading, hopefully someone answers this question soon)
I didnt find a wedding dress there over 300.00 and they were pretty. also they have bridesmaids and flower girl dresses. i found one of the dresses online that i wanted (the original designer is watters and watters) and it was 45.00 originally the real designer charges 359 (for a bmaid dress) anyways its the dress my maid of honor is wearing i told her if she thinks she wants to go for it she can.. get it now and be done with it :)

Knowing that they're made at a big factory in China, you may want to consider the possibility of sweatshop labor. That's a factor for some people. It's sooo smart of you to look on eBay and email those people. You gotta be proactive to make sure that you don't get yourself into a negative situation...especially for your wedding!

Ok...phew. Now that I have that said let me explain....


So cute Nieve little me sees this beautiful photo of a Maggie sottero gown I was In love with for $200w/shipping on ebay...It was in china and they explained that it was a knock off. I -assumed- they where a company that eaither was very good at knocking off gowns or where the manufacturers of the actual gown...I was soooo wrong.

I ordered it..Its a pretty big poofy dress I assumed it would be in a box...I recieved it in a bubble envelope..It was made of the material they use to line gowns (the cheap kind) the glue they used to do the beading was YELLOW and it looked like S*** on. It had no boning no nothing.

So..I did get my money back because I used paypal. I wish I had found this link below before I purchased because I still lost $50 shipping it back.

The manufacturer had a website outside of ebay that sold gowns. I would guess that this is the case for the one you found. Please dont buy but if you do ONLY USE PAYPAL so that you can get some of your money back if it doesnt turn out.
