We (and by we I mostly mean him lol) are having issues picking out tuxes. I have a couple of questions so I am just going to list them.
Are all the guys wearing the same tux or is the groom wearing something different?
Are they wearing neckties or bowties?
I had originally wanted solid colors but the pink that matches doesnt' come in solid, so I was going to do black vest and pink neckties, but would a bowtie look better? Or should they not even wear pink and just have the pink bout.? The BM have just a touch of pink on their dress. I think FH is going to be in black tux w/white or black vest and white tie or black bowtie. I can't decide on that either though!
Help!!!! We don't know what we want!
LOL Am I making things to complicated? I feel like I am overthinking all this, but I just want it to look good. I would love any opinions you guys have, now I am going to search pictures some more!

I don't have any pics...But I can tell you what we are doing...
Shawn is wearing and Ivory vest and tie and so are the ring bearers. No bow ties for us!
The GM's are wearing burgondy ties and vests that match the bridesmaid dresses.
I really don't care much for the bow ties. I'm more of a tie and vest person. As far as the colors, IMHO I would pick a color that compliments what the bridesmaids are wearing. I'm not sure how good it would look if the vest and tie (whether you went with a bow tie or a regular tie) weren't the same color. I would stick to having them the same colors. Hope this helps!

I agree, but the pink is a pattern and I didn't love the vest so I though maybe just a black vest b/c it would blend in with the jacket and then there would just be a touch of pink. Do you think that would look silly? Tell me the truth b/c I don't know!
But they are wearing the same tux just different vest and tie. That's what I want the to do.

Actually the black vest and pink tie sounds like a good idea!
I think I've seen somone on here pics of black vests and red ties and it looked sharp.
I think you might have a good choice going here. I'm liking the idea of Pink ties and the black vests!
here's what i did. i had the guys wearing a vest that matched their tux (it was black with a faint pinstripe) and burgundy colored ties. my now husband wore the same black vest but with a gold tie that matched the sash on my dress. the groomsmen had pink callas and my husband had a white calla. my husband is 6'2-6'3" ish so his jacket was a long style where as the other groomsmen had normal short jackets.
here's a pic of my husband's tux with the black vest and gold tie

i think it would be lovely if the groom wore the black suit and vest with maybe a white shirt and pink tie. the groomsmen could wear the same only make their shirts pink with black or someother colored tie. no bowties.

I agree, I don't like the bowtie, and would go with a regular tie.

Our guys will be clad in black suits, black vests, black shirts and silver ties. I know it sounds like a lot of black but it'll look pretty slick. Especially since we opted out of having boutinneres (sp?). Boys in flowers....just doesn't do anything for me. Heh.
The black/black/pink combo sounds cool but I would definitely stay away from the bow ties. There's nothing worse than looking like a ventriloquist on your wedding day...

our colors were pink and brown. Our BM dresses were brown with a little pink sash. The guys wore black tuxes with brown vest and tie & white shirt. WIth a pink bout.

Nick wore the same color as everyone else. They wore a yellow diamond shaped pattern tuxes, with yellow ties. I do not like bow ties either.
This is what they all wore..

Our guys are wearing black tuxes, white shirts, red vest and red tie...the only difference is that scott will wear a white vest. Or is it the other way around??? Crud...Well...its either one way or the other.

All the guys including the groom will be wearing this camo tux but with a bowtie. They are all avid hunters and I think this will keep them all very happy.

Are all the guys wearing the same tux or is the groom wearing something different? My fiance is wearing a blue vest and tie, as is the ring bearer. The rest of the men are wearing silver vests and ties.
Are they wearing neckties or bowties? Ties for sure. Neither of us like the look of bow ties.
I say do what you want to do or what you think will look best overall. Our colors are purples and blues. My bridesmaids are wearing lilac dresses and our flowers are cream and purple roses. However, my fiance fell in love with a particular blue vest. He loved the color and nothing else appealled to him, so I decided that it wasn't something to get stressed out over. That is partly why we decided to put the men in silver vests and ties, so they would look more neutral. It sounds like the combinations of colors will look odd, but I think it will work great.
Good luck with what you decide!
