It's our anniversary!

Hey, it's after midnight here so I just wanted to shout it out that it's our 5 year anniversary today! We were supposed to spend a long weekend out of town, but Chad had a last minute conflict at work because the other head chef's wife went into labor. Haha...the nerve! I'm a little disappointed but, atleast we get to spend a little time together around his work & my school.

Congrats! On our 5 year anniversary we just went out to dinner but 2 weeks later (for our anniversary/with family/my birthday vacation) he proposed. =) Im sure you two will do something really special even if you have to put it off.

I posted this in my journal, but I know that not everybody reads the journals.

We finally got to do a little something for our anniversary, just a few days late. We went to PF Chang's because Chad used to work there and he loved it. He still knows a lot of people that work there. We told everybody that it was our five year anniversary and they thought it was awesome. Then we went to the movies. It was still early (around 11 pm) when we got out of the movies so we tried to go to Kona Grill so we could lounge around and I could have a few drinks. Well, little did we know after 9 pm it's 21 and up. Chad's not 21 yet! I guess that they just changed that because we used to go there late all of the time. So we went back to PF Chang's, sat at the bar so I could have a Mojito, and chatted with people a little more. We very rarely do the normal dinner & a movie thing. It was a good night.

Our dessert, "Happy Anniversary". The words had kind of started mixing together by then! We got it for free. Yay! His friends were making funny faces, hence his silly smile. lol
