I was just browsing through some threads and noticed we had a lot of new ladies here with some interesting user names. We did a thread like this a while ago, but there are so many new people I thought it would fun to do it again!

Mine is nothing exciting. My name is Elizabeth, a lot of people call me Liz, so years ago when I was first coming up with screen names for AOL I wanted something with Liz in it and everything was taken so I hit the option for the computer to come up with one using Liz and some numbers and this is what i got! I use it for pretty much everything so I can keep up with them all lol! If I were more creative I would've picked something different to use here, but honestly I didn't think I would be here as much as I have been :)!

Mine's kind of a long story.

When I was about 14, there was a boy I was talking to. He called me late one night after I'd already gone to bed, so my Mom answered the phone. Now my birth name is Natasha, but he was... well.. possibly drinking, and asked for NEEtasha.

So the next morning, my mom says "Oh, someone called last night for NEEtasha." Long story short, she never let me live it down, and I've been "Nee" ever since.

Over the years, it morphed into Neebelung, and depending on when you ask my mom, the story behind it changes.

1.) The long-haired version of a Russian Blue (cat) is the nebelung (with one 'e').

or

2.) Die Niebelungen are wood nymphs in Wagner's epic "Der Fledemaus" (sp?).

My family, my friends, and even Chris call me Nee most of the time, and it's the screenname I use for everything.

Ok, I probably have one of those screen names that everyone is wondering about, haha.

I have Arabian horses and grew up showing and competing. My mom was an avid horsewoman. One of the most famous Arabian stallions is Khemosabi....hence my screen name. It's a screen name that I've used FOREVER and for everything (horse and non-horse related). The "2" because khemosabi was already taken when I signed up for AOL instant messanger about 10 yrs ago. :)

On another note....khemosabi was also the name of the Lone Ranger's sidekick. Or at least that's what I've been told. A lot of people think I'm a fan of the Lone Ranger, LOL.

Well my name is kinda differnet I know. I had a name I had to change and was trying to think of somethign different. I liked the name rainbow but of course it and so many differnt ways about it were taken. I tried a few things like teal rainbow and things like that but didn't sound right to me as rainbow is all colors. The word treat just came out and I said rainbowtreat. And so it is and it has stuck and it is my name on EVERYTHING i do on line just about. I have goten so many nick names from this name. My favortie is skittles. As some one once asked me what was at the end of my rainbow, gold or candy. My answer was candy as my name is rainbowTREAT. They said so skittles it is. So there you have it. I has no meaning behind it, just trying to think up something differnent.

NekoChan was my nickname in junior high.. ^^* It kind of stuck for me... So i tried to put it into AOL, but it was taken.. So i put a 'purr' at the end, lol. BTW: Neko means cat.. ^^*'Chan' is something you would call someone if you were going out with someone or were childhood friends/close.. Ack, sorry, i'm confusing.

Mine is just my first (really) and middle name with no space. My mother wanted me to have a name no one else had, and in 1958, no one else did. Everyone thinks I was named after Frankie Avalon's song, but it didn't come out til 1961. I've always thought that I really don't need a last name, like Cher and Madonna, but I can barely wait until it is Gibson!

Mine came from the fact that I have a huge love for hummingbirds. I have feeders hanging everywhere and if i could i would feed them yearround. lol. so hence the hummingbird part of my name. the 521 is the month and date we were married. 5th month 21st day. not to original i think but it fit.

Mine came from being born and raised in the South - and so proud of it! And also from competing in pageants way back in the day ... I paid my entire way thru college from scholarships and I really just loved wearing the pretty dresses and getting my hair and makeup done! LOL (I am such a girly-girl!) And bride ... well.. I mean, if you can't figure that out ..... :geek:
But I fully plan on being the QUEEN at my wedding! LOL Plus, it is a great opportunity to wear a tiara again! (I know I know - I am such a dork!)

Krimangel, was made when I first started chatting, a friend of mine came up with it, seeing how I was about 14 or so, and very into goth, Krim in a game he played ment blood... so it tanslated out to be blood angel... and even though i have left my goth days behind it has just stuck around.
