Got a message from someone

Can somebody please advise me?
I got a private message from "fresh leads" and he was obviously male - not that I have anything against males :D I wouldn't be here if i did.
But under his name was the word "Banned".
What does that mean? I thought it meant he was banned from the forums but if so how could he send me a message?

Just ignore the message. Many of us were spanned by that person.

This person was banned last week because of this kind of thing. Being banned they should not have access to their account anymore.

They should not be able to send you messages through the boards Private Message system. Was it a recent message (PM or email?) or one from last week?

I just saw one like that as well on here...i was searching back to the forums i had been in to try and find it but i just thought that was her blurb under her picture and figured "banned" because it was a picture of a wedding band.

Is there anything we should do if we see those types of things or just ignore it?

Just ignore it; the member has been banned. If you get anything like this from others in the future, don't hesitate to let the mods know about it. We don't want our members to be harassed with unsolicited messages.
