Keely's post about the wedding issue of People Magazine got me thinking; I thought it would be cool to look up the most expensive wedding things ever.

So here are a couple I found ...

- The most expensive wedding in the world cost $60 million USD. It was thrown by a wealthy Indian man named Lakshmi Mittal for his daughter Vanisha Mittal and and her fiancée Amit Bhatia on June 22 2004.

- The most expensive wedding cake in the world was created by Mimi So Jewellers and cake designer Nahid La Patisserie Artistique. The diamond studded creation was unveiled in Beverly Hills at the Luxury Brands Bridal Show on Rodeo Drive on October 16, 2006. The cake was designed as a show piece for the event and was not edible.

Did anybody watch that show Platinum Weddings? The cost of stuff was insane. I wanted them to do an itemized list at the end so we knew how much the entire costs were (they showed prices throughout the show). The weddings were nice, but I can't imagine spending that much, EVER!

I don't have any facts for you guys but was wondering if there were pictures of this cake and dress that cost more than most will ever make in their lifetime lol!

Did anybody watch that show Platinum Weddings? The cost of stuff was insane. I wanted them to do an itemized list at the end so we knew how much the entire costs were (they showed prices throughout the show). The weddings were nice, but I can't imagine spending that much, EVER!

I love watching that show..I can't believe how people spend that much on weddings. People are like it's the most important day of my life?? I know its a bit off subject but, I know my wedding will be one of the best days of my life but I cannot say that it is worth spending that much for goodness sakes or that it's going to be the most important day of my life. Although it will definately rank up there!

Well, One thing I can surely share with u guys....;) The moment when I witnessed Diamond wedding cake...:yummy::yummy:..really out of the world. I thinks that was probably one of the world's expensive wedding cake.
