I have no clue! He's not a man who is easy to please! I'm still pondering on it.

My Dad is a tough one; he has decided he doesn't like going out to eat anymore. So I guess we will just make him a gift basket with some of his fav things and a little gift or gift card.

My sister thinks we need to do pictures, but I hate pics of me. We couldn't get them back by Father's Day anyway. But we are going to try to get the 4 of us together at a later date and get some pics made.

I'm moving to Florida... from a 3 hour flight away, to a 3 hour drive. Isn't that enough?? LOL. THough, seriously, other than a card... but, then I'm not all that close with my father, so... :)

I am going to get him a card and also a gift certificate to a sporting good store. Same every year, but he loves it.

i just always call my daddy and visit with him over the phone or i might go in person as i do this sometimes. the few times i bought my father something he got kinda upset and said for me not to because he knows how tight money is. or he would use the gift card and take us all out to eat. lol

As I am not close with my real dad he usualy just gets a card. He lives 7 hours away. We dont talk all that much. So the least and most I can do si a card to let him know I was thinking of him.

As for my husband, the kids will get him a card and somethign little. I am giving somethign form the baby. It is a Daddy Diaper Service bag.It is like a tool belt but it ihas diapers, powder, gloves, tongs lol, things liek that. It is a cute idea tha tI think he will get a kick out of. He has to work as he needed the 13th off for my sons Kindgarden Graduation and his last T-Ball game, so we may take a ride over to where he works with out him knowing we are coming. I was informed that I might have my kids next weekend because of the traffic for Bike Week here. So if that is the case it will make his day even better.

Ugh! Thanks for the reminder! I usually get him a gift card....usually to the Harley Davidson place. He had a midlife crisis at 50...bought a Harley and now is nowhere to be found most days. Too busy on "rides", haha.

For my dad I think we are going to go over to his house for a cook out, my dad and step-mom live right down the street from us. They aren't too happy we're moving but they understand why we're going. And for my FH I got him 2 cards, one from me and one from the boys. Since we're moving we're trying to save as much money as possible.

I love, love, love my daddy! Hee hee.

He is hard to buy for because he is so simple. I got him some t-shirts and a couple of CDs so he can listen to them out in his workshop.

I did get him this card that has a man holding a little girl's hand on the front and it says: They say that a woman never forgets the first man in her life.

Then you open it up and it says: That is so true. I love you very much!

I thought it was fitting since he just gave me away. It was perfect seeing that it took me years to get a man that even came close to him! :D

Mine will be playing golf in the morning and then we are all going over for an evening meal just to be with him.
I will take him a bottle of his favorit wine and a card. He is quite simple in his needs really, doesn't like to be fussed over.

I'm not sure if I'll get my dad anything besides a card...he's hard to shop for and we aren't really that close.

FH is getting cards from Zach and me and I got him tickets to see his favorite band Godsmack Friday night in Chicago...he already knows but he's excited. I still have to get him something else though...his b-day is next week!

i decided since i make cards for a living then why not take the time to make my dad a special one just for him. i don't know why i didn't think of this sooner. lol.

the kids and i got my hubby a t-shirt we made for him. he won't be home since out trucking but will give it to him when he returns. we got a navy blue shirt and have placed all of our handprints in silver paint around the outside of it and i will write something sentimental on the inside in the same silver paint.

I'm getting my Dad a card. He is such a sweetie...but soooooo hard to buy for. He is supposed to be retired..but works at least 40-60 hours a week. He's a farmer, so I guess they never really retire!! I quite often get him something that has to do with International tractors..but haven't found anything he would like. So, I guess this year, it will just be a card.
