I am just wondering if any one here knows how long would it take to process a fiance visa.

I am from Philippines and he is from Virginia, half world apart. We been childhood friends then but he migrated to US when he was around 20. He came back 5 years ago and he saw a different me. To cut the story short, he courted me then we had a long distance relationship. We just celebrated our 4th year last May. :)

Now we are planning to marry but our date is still dependent on the processing of my fiance visa. I often joked that it is so difficult to marry him that I would need a visa to do it. I just hope my visa gets thru in time for our planned date.

Sorry that I can't help you with that answer. I hope that you get it soon, though, so that you can be with your fiance.

I just did a quick search and read somewhere that filling a fiancee visa can take several months to process.

You may need to look into getting an attorney that specializes in this kind of thing.

All the best to you!

Thank you for this. I really read it thrice just to make sure, but I somewhat always pausing at the part ... "sometimes longer". I just wish it won't last longer then the approx.
Thank you again.

I just have an update on my fiancee visa. After 2 months, the status changed from "Pending" to "Approved notice sent". CIS said that I would receive the notice within this month. I am happy that processing looks like it is moving. Thank you to everyone.
