Fried Green Tomatoes - summer food

Has anybody else had these? Man, I am getting quite the craving for those right now. Don't you just love summer food? What are your favorites? Mine is as follows.......

Squash
Watermelon - as far as I"m concerned this is the best food on the planet!
Grilled anything (hot dogs, brats, hamburgers, chicken, steak)
Sweet Corn on the cob - being from Indy this is a must
Very ripe strawberries
Fair food

We have a special treat here in the Philippines called Halo-halo.

It is a mixture of different fruits, beans, jellies, leche flan, yam and anything you like plus crush ice at the bottom.
