Halter Style Dress

i don't think i would. Id wear bigger earrings and maybe a braclet.

I am wearing a haltered style dress. I have two necklaces that I bought. One is a single pearl necklace and the other is little more extravegent. I'm going to tried them both on when my dress came in and they both looked really nice, but just to keep it simple I think I'm going with the single pearl plus it matches my tiara! You can wear a necklace with the halter style dress but my suggestions is to keep it simple and not over accesorize!

ya i read somewhere have either little earrings and a necklace, or no necklace bigger earrings. I wore a necklace and earrings bc they came as a set and they were really simple and not big. Just try something on and see if it looks good!

I didn't buy a necklace, because I didn't think you should wear one with a halter dress. Well, I have since seen some pics with halters and necklaces and it didn't look bad at all. I have bought 2 sets and probably still haven't made up my mind. I just bought costume jewelry from claires so its not costing much...haha

You're welcome..I wish I took a pick of my necklace so I can show you but it looks great with my dress and because of the plunging halter neckline it actually looks better with the necklace on than without one!

I wore a strand of pearls with my halter style dress and my bridesmaids wore Y-drop necklaces with theirs. I think the Y-drop was most complimentary to the neckline as would be a nice pendant but the pearls were my something old. :)

Personally I don't think you need a necklace with a dress like this. But if you do wear one, I would suggest something simple like just a chain and a pendent ... and make sure it is the right length for the neckline too.

I would opt for a small simple necklace as to not overshadow the dress.
