Hi, I'm new and at the end of my rope. I'm getting married in just a few weeks and I have absolutely GOT to lose a good 10 pounds or the dress just is not happening.
I found this website called wedding-day-diet dot com (they won't let me use the website address, don't get that? ) but I don't know if it's any good. Anyone have any experience with this or any others you can recommend? Thanks a ton.

Sorry. Personally, I dont have any experience but my mother has a good testimonial. She had a waistline from 47 to 40 in 1 month. It was pure discipline. She would eat frequently in small amount, less rice, no eating after 6PM, exercise daily, plenty of fruits and a dress for motivation :D

I would try the low carb diet; cut out breads, pastas and such. I tried it a while back and lost 15 lbs in a month.
Cut back on salt, sodas, tea/coffee and drink lots of water too.
Good luck :)

I'm thinking spam maybe...but for anyone else...One of the easiest and most effective way to drop a few pounds pretty quickly is cut out Pop/Soda...anything carbonated and/or caffinated. So much better for you and that also takes down your sugar intake. Kills about 3 birds with 1 stone.

Cut your caloric intake and spread it across 6 small meals a day. Then supplement your daily calorie burn with some aerobic exercise. Many women like Turbo Jam or Taebo. You could try one of those. Remember to take one day off a week to reward yourself, just don't go overboard.
Good luck!

All good advice so far.
You'll definitely need to cut calories......but don't sacrifice good nutrition. Make sure to get proper amounts of fruits and vegetables.
(calorie intake should be "around" 10-13 calories per pound of desired body weight)
Plus get active, cardio is a must....30 min 4-5 times a week.
It is totally possible to drop 10 lbs in a couple weeks.
All of this advice is of course if you are in good health.
Hope that helps.

Thank you all for your suggestions. The soda thing has been a HUGE help! I had no idea that one thing would make such a difference. Already lost 4 pounds without changing one other thing. I have been watching what I'm eating more carefully, and maybe that helps.
Anyway, just wanted to thank you all for the help.

My wedding is 30 days away and I have been working my butt off these past 2 weeks to make sure I get into my dress. Losing weight is a mind thing. I wake up about 45 minutes early every morning and power walk with 2.5 lbs weight for about a miles and then I do about 200 crunchs and 50 squats. I also cut out all sweets and drink a lot of water. My wedding dress is my inspiration. Also, look into the body wrap. I never done it but it is suppose to help you loss inches. It helps tighting your body up for speical occasions. Good luck

Losing weight quickly isn't ideal...however i find it is a great boost for people that have a lot of weight to lose and also effective for people that have an occasion to aim for.
I am a personal trainer and a lot of my clients sign up for personal training after losing the weight on my lose 14lbs in 14 days system.
