I have some pics at home that my dad took, but not very many. I will try to post some tonight.

So on my wedding day I woke up and the sun was shining. Which gave me a boost of hope that we may not get rained on. I took my dogs Abby & Phoebe for a walk. When I got home everyone else (parents, moh, Dave) was waking up. Dad & fh ran to Panera to get breakfast. After breakfast I started getting stuff together to go and get my hair and makeup done.

Dave and I filled out as much of the marriage license as we could figuring then all the others had to do was sign.

MOH (Tara), mom & I went to get Tara & my hair & makeup done.

We got home and I opened a gift from Dave, a heart box with an inscription that I can't remember the wording for offhand, but it was very nice.

We got our dresses on and the limo was there to pick us up. The limo stopped and dropped off my mom and then we drove around the block for the videographer. The limo driver told us he had been driving Tim McGraw & Faith Hill around earlier that day and they actually let him off for the night so he could come and do our wedding. We weren't in the same limo though. But we got to see his pass and stuff. So that was cool.

Then we got to the site and Tara exited. I came out and thankfully the weather was overcast, but not raining. The ceremony was short and sweet, took no more then 15 minutes. And everything went smoothly. I didn't cry, even though I came close. I figure it's a good thing the ceremony was short.

Then we took a bunch of pictures. As the final pictures were being taken it started to rain. So it worked out well.

Then we went to a bar so Dave could have a cigar. He loved the lighter I got him.

We went to the reception to start greeting our guests. Not as many people as we thought showed up, but that's ok. We were able to visit with everyone. It was nice. Just as we pictured it. The wedding video was hilarious. I actually had tears coming down my face from laughing so hard.

I think I'll wait and add more once I have pictures.

Thanks!!! I really like that place for weddings. After all the pictures were taken we went to a bar. We had about an hour before the reception started.

The reception was exactly how we planned. We got there and greeted people as they walked in, then after a while we got up and thanked everyone for coming, introduced our parents and thanked them. Then the best man got up and announced dinner. He set up a trivia game, and whoever got the questions right their table went up to the dinner line next. People seemed to enjoy it. As dinner was finishing up our friend had a video he made. I've somewhat talked about it on here. It was great. I was laughing so hard I cried. It had pictures of us growing up, skits of us, interviews with friends and family.

After that we just spent the night visiting. When last call happened Dave pulled me on the dance floor - Mr. I refuse to dance. So that was nice. Then we packed up the limo with food and our stuff and went home. For some reason when we got home we decided to clean our house. We had guest there all week, but we were the only ones there that night. I know strange thing to do on your wedding night. But the house was clean and we were able to sleep in.

The next day we got up and played with the dogs, got ready and then went to his parents house to pick up the gifts. We visited for a while and then headed back to our house. My parents were at our house by then and we opened our gifts. My parents went off to meet my aunt and uncle and some of their friends to go to the zoo and we headed to a bed and breakfast an hour away.

The bed and breakfast was really nice. Old turn of the century house. Our room had a canopy bed and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. We went out to dinner at a brewery/restaurant. Then it looked like rain so we headed back to the b&b. We spent that Sunday shopping.

Overall everything turned out great!!

Oh, and is it just me, or did you other ladies who are now married feel like the day just flew? I still can't get over how fast the day went!

Sounds like just a perfect day! Sounds relaxing and not stressful. :)

Oh yes, it goes by so fast. I look at the pictures and ask, where did the day go? haha but we get to enjoy a lifetime with our husbands, so that is the best feeling. :)

how did i miss this! Love the pics! Your dress and hair were soooooo pretty! Your hair kinda reminded me of mine.

The day FLEW by for me. I was sad when it was over. I felt like people left the reception really early too. Most people were gone before we made our exit. There was only about a handful of people who blew bubbles for us.

Thanks!!! I was originally going to go with soft yellow and soft pink roses, and when Tara picked her dress I thought the darker yellow would look nicer with the dark blue. I'm so glad I changed it!
