View Full Version : Champagne flute pictures!
We have some champagne flutes that we got for Valentine's Day from Kroger's grocery store several years ago when we first got together. We always said that we would use these in our wedding one day. They go with our colors, but they do look kind of juvenile with hearts all over them so we're thinking about getting a more sophisticated set for our wedding. I'd love to see everybody else's so if you have pics, post them!!

As I was at Wally-World today, getting bussiness suplies. I walked by a few wedding items, and stopped to look ( I'm thinking of purchasing a few things to loan out to my couples, if need be such as unity candles, glasses for breaking glasses ceremony, etc.) So I went to their site when I got home to see what else they had to offer and noticed these........

ours were only like $15 at party city. Some people just like to have them to save for keepsake. But now that i think about it I don't know where ours are!!? I think we left DH's at the Hilton. Aw man!

you have 2 options. there is a set by lenox which is pricey at over $100 or you can get what exactly what i got which was $40 on amazon.com. i also had an amazon.com coupon so it was even cheaper.
if you want the cheap amazon pair (which i thought were absolutely gorgeous in person) search under Godinger Toasting Flutes. I loved mine and it looked great in pix.
hope that helps.

Ours are really plain and simple. I'm thinking of adding a little yellow bow to them or something....to tie them into our theme a little more.

we got engaged at cinderellas castle and they gave us the two flutes that were used in our very first toast as an engaged couple. FH told me immediatly that he wanted those as our wedding flutes. We couldnt imagine buying something that would ever be able to mean that much to us.
We are engraving
"I WILL" : 05/19/2007
AND
"I DO": (WEDDING DATE TBD)
And on one side they already say "cinderellas table" cuz thats where we got engaged!

We designed our own flutes and had them silk-screened onto the glass. This company does it for $1.46 per glass, so we bought 275 champagne flutes and gave them away as wedding favors. Everyone loved taking home the flutes. We would have had to spend 275 to rent 1 glass per guest anyway, so we killed 2 birds with one stone.

These are our flutes, engraved with name and date.... just a word to the wise, the title of these on just about every site has them as "rhinestone embellished" champage flutes..... BS!!!! There are square indents in the base and SILVER GLITTER WITH A CLEAR APOXY IN THEM..... I was sooo irritated when I go these and realized that it was JUST silver glitter and NO RHINESTONES... in the base... I left a nasty email to the company I ordered them from...
I mean I thought I was getting some cheap rhinestones set in the base, but no silver glitter suspended in a clear apoxy plastic.
I still like them, I just felt like we were bamboozled a bit, but they will make due...

I don't have pics of mine b/c they are at my mama's house ... but we went the REALLY SUPER CHEAP route! We just got 2 from the dollar store! They are glass and really nice ... and I am just going to tie a ribbon around them. It is not that I care all that much about champagne glasses ... so this was ok for us!

Our reception is going to be at a brewery, and they can't allow any alcohol to be brought in. Of course, they offer unlimited beer, so this is truly not a problem. Anyway, the point is we are not doing champagne flutes, and toasting with beer instead. So we're ordering these (and giving them to our guests as favors), and will have put on them:

We had a western themed wedding. We found these at the Montana Silversmith website. We paid like $50 or so for them. Kinda pricey I know. But when me and DH seen then we knew we just had to have them. They just suited our wedding to a tee. We also got the matching guest book, pen, cake serving set, cake topper and ring bearer pillow.

We're having toasting shot glasses because my lovely little groomzilla is refusing to do a champagne toast of any sort. He hates the texture of champagne or sparkling cider. So yeah. I'm looking for nice shot glasses so we can do whiskey shots.
