Please pick 1 scenario. I'm not sure what look to pick for my wedding day. Any input is appreciated.

Scenario A:
I'm standing in front of him. He's looking at me, relieved I'm finally there. Thinking to himself: "There's my girl. I don't know what it is about her. Somehow she looks more radiant than ever."

Scenario B:
I'm standing in front of him. He's looking at me, relieved I'm finally there. Thinking to himself: "Wow. She looks great. She looks like a completely different person! Like a movie star."

I always thought about just going natural. Just a little make-up. However I do realize it's a once in a lifetime thing. So now I'm having second thoughts about going natural. And I don't know what will look better in pictures and on video.

I already asked Denny what he prefers and he said that on the day he would prefer to kiss 'me' and not go through 10 layers of lipstick/lipgloss to finally get to me.

If only for the sake of photography, you might want to go a little heavier with your makeup than you usually do. Not necessarily CAKED on, but a bit more color, a bit more dramatic, just to ensure you don't look washed out (assuming you're wearing a white, off-white or viory dress) in your wedding album.

I liked the idea of having someone look at me and think she looks completly different WOW. I had that affect on my wedding and I LOVED it. People saw the pictures and were like, that is not you. I felt soo special and so pretty, it was an awesome feeling!

i went with a lot more makeup than i usually wear (which is some mascara and lip gloss). i still think it looked natural and not caked on but i wanted to look different that day.

I also don't want a bunch of layered makeup on that will be peeling off on my wedding day lol... I am getting married at the end of June so I don't need to look like I am melting. As for the gloss/ lipstick Brian hates it on me if he has to kiss me so that will probably be way played down.

But as for the pics I would just go a little more dramatic on the eyes and that is it.. Put on a little gloss and say be done with it.

I always like the more natural look, but I think it should be slightly different, and a little heavier than what you'd wear everyday.

In photography I always say to play up the eyes; a litter darker shadow and liner. I love tinted, glossy lips and not so much heavy lipstick.

You can be radiant and beautiful with not too much makeup and the dress and all will make you look like a "movie star"

As for me. I tell my wife she's beautiful the way she is. No make up required.

Thanks for all the input!! I really appreciate it. My eyes however are big in comparison with other eyes. So I don't really know if I should use extra makeup for my eyes. I also don't know what colors to use to make them look smaller.

I voted for B. I want him to say "Wow!" on the big day :)

A local radio host refers to his wife as "She who must be obeyed". :)

As for me, I wear make up only when I have time to do so but when I do DH always compliments me ... "pretty eyes". I made sure to play up my eyes.

Make up doesn't have to be heavy to be more but you might not feel comfortable if you don't "look like you". Try some different make up brands, maybe have your make up done at a counter beforehand and ask people that know you, for suggestions. Maybe host a make up party?

I'm kinda in the same boat. I don't want to wear a ton of makeup but at the same time I don't want to look washed out. I am going to try to find a sort of happy medium.
If it was up to FH, there would be very very little makeup at all.

I'm having a make-up artist do my make-up and I told her I want to look natural. After 2 trial runs, I think my make-over will look great. I'll look a little different but it won't be drastic. I think (especially for pictures) you should wear some make-up.

A little makeup goes a long way. I think a little more than usual, but not enough that you look completely different. After all, he's marrying of you, not your makeup, lol.

Haha, i picked a little. If you don't normally wear a lot, it make look a little weird.. XD perdonally, a little is a lot for me.. because i NEVER wear makeup. Hehe. I'm lazy and its expensive.

I know my FH doesn't really care. His opinion of me never really varies much.

In sweats with no makeup and unwashed hair: "Wow, you're hot."

In full makeup and an outfit that makes me feel awesome: "Wow, you're hot."

So I know, whatever I wear, walking down the aisle on my wedding day: "Wow, you're hot."
He's a descriptive man, my FH. :soppy:

I don't know if I want him to be like "you look so different" I just want to be the hottest, most rockin' me I can possibly be.

Exactly... I want to be me, which is why I'm a little fussy about wearing a big fancy wedding dress too, since I never EVER dress up.

I do want to look good in the photos though, that'll last forever, so I will wear some foundation so I don't look shiny in the sun! And maybe some chapstick or something not too glossy, but still a little shine.

I'm going with a little bit more makeup than I wear now, when I first met FH i wore a ton of makeup and then he would complain about how he thinks Im gorgeous without it and would like me to wear less... so i did, saved money for some time, now I miss my makeup and am starting to wear more... so i am going to go a little dramatic on that day... he has seen me all glammed up or au natural... so he will know who i am...:whoohoo:
