Chris proposed last night!!!
That's right, we're officially official. LOL.... I knew last night was the night (we'd planned it together, actually), so I was bouncing off the walls all day yesterday. My manager let me cut out early (I had told him early in the day I would be totally useless and non-productive all day, so he understood my anxiousness to leave)...
We picked up the ring (it was being set/sized, etc...), and went home to get ready for dinner... and he actually ended up proposing at home, in bed :bbredface: (he apologized later for not waiting till we were in a more romantic spot, but that he just couldn't wait any longer... As far as I'm concerned, it couldn't have been more perfect!)
Then we went to dinner to celebrate... dinner at Bonefish was phenomenal, and our waiter had apparently just recently gotten engaged, so he was a lot of fun to chat with, and was kind enough to snap a few pics for us....
It was a perfect night. Absolutely perfect. I can't stop staring at my ring, and every few minutes, we look at each other and giggle, and go, "We're engaged!!!"
I'm absolutely on cloud 9 today... (on the downside, they actually sized my ring a little too BIG, so I've gotta drop it off this morning to be resized again, and then they'll do the appraisal while they've got it as well... they wanted me to just leave the ring there last night to be re-sized, but I was like, "there's no way in heck I'm leaving here without this ring today!" LOL....
