You may have read about my sister in laws wedding coming up on June 30 that is formal. I got a dress, but i don't know if its to "partyish", she said most girls our age are wearing "cocktail" dresses. I would consider mine cocktail but it may be clubish. I guess i could take a picture and let you all tell me what you think. But in the mean time do you have any stores you know have cute, not to expensive dresses? She said alot of her friends are going to Jcrew and buying from the formal section, and i went to that website and the dresses are SO cute!! But they were like $235!!!!! The one i got was only $25,lol. Its going to be ALL rich people at this wedding, errrrrrrrrr! All her friends are from this fancy shmancy rich school. We got their shower invitation and it says "around the house shower" is that just a way of saying its for guys too? But all the places they registered at are such expensive places! Like potter barn and williams sonoma(i don't even know what that is!).

Well any dress can look "Dressy" its what you wear with it in my opnion.
I would look at Sears, Jcpenney, target etc. Really it just depends on how you wear it. Jcrew is sooo expensive. Look at Old Navy, etc. Or you can take your "Cluby" dress as you call it and get a really nice shawl or sweater to put over it to play it down a bit. A really classy shawl can really add to a dress. No worries, you will find something very nice I am sure!!!
