Summer post card/greeting card exchange!

Ok ladies...Nicksbride and I did some talking this afternoon and we're overdue for some fun things to do this summer! We came up with two fun things to do..One of the things we're going to put together is another exchange. I will post the rules so please read carefully.

This exchange will run from June 1st until September 1st!!

For the summer months each person participating will have a buddy for the entire summer.

Once a month you and your buddy will exchange a post card or greeting card with a pic enclosed of a place you went or even wished you went this summer. It can be as simple as your backyard or a nearby park!!

You will send a total of 3 cards during this exchange one per month.

In order to particpate you must be a trusted member of one wed and have been a member for atleast 30 days with a post count of atleast 25 posts.

If you are interested please post in this thread up until May 30th. We will not add anyone after may 30th

On May 31st I will Pm everyone with their perspective buddy and you will be responsible for obtaining your buddies mailing address and sending them their PC or greeting card by June 20th.

I ask that you please remember to send out your PC or greeting card by the 20th of each month.

I think I am in, but I had trouble finding pics of where I live (which is weird b/c I live in fairly big city) but I am not going anywhere so I don't think I will be able to get postcards of things other than where I live. Is that going to be a big deal, you think? That's my only concern!

Like I said you don't have to do a post card..You can do a little greeting card and enclos a picture of your backyard, or your favorite restaurant or something interesting about the place you live..That's why I am kind of leaving it up to the person to pick which ever would work better...For instance I live in a very rural area and its hard for me to find PC's where I live so I'll probably send my buddy a cute greeting card with a picture of something around here!

LOL Totally missed that part!! Sorry! Okay, I am pretty sure I will be in, so go ahead and count me in!! I will let you know before May 30 if I won't have time. I'm glad we are doing this again, the last one was fun.

My hobby is scrapbooking, card making & stamping and I know I can find some nice PC's and such to send. If it's not ok, I understand, I do get on here everyday I just don't post because I feel like I would be interrupting. I believe you have been here since april so that shouldn't be a problem...You've been around for a month...Get posting girl!! Don't ever feel like your interrupting around here. Let us get to know you and by all means ask questions to get to know us!! We would all love that. Feel the right to browse through my journal, post comments, or just say hi!! You all should exchange addresses and have fun!!!!!!!!!! This goes on for three months and once you have received a Postcard please share it with the rest of us!!
