Hey everyone,

I'm a pretty light-skinned Asian (with the almond eyes and the fat eyelids w/o creases)... I've already been trying to determine my wedding makeup by just trying out different things and taking photos of myself, but my main problem is that make-up doesn't show!

I'm having my wedding at 10am in August outdoors, so the light will be pretty bright, and that obviously doesn't help... the only way to make it look like I'm not going completely bare-skinned is to load on the makeup and imho that's too over-done for a morning wedding... and I'd prefer a more natural palette (like browns, grays, and maybe lavenders)

So, any ideas, especially from other Asians?

Thanks

sorry im not asian but i find its really hard for me to wear eye make up and it show because when my eyes are open you dont really see my eye lids. i would do a smoky grey to outline the lashes of your eyes( i find using liquid eye liner works best) the use a light purple all over your lid up to your brow line. then use a really bright colour like meganta (the cream stuff is best) and strat in the middle of your lid and work your way down the crease. then 1 mm from the middle to the outside do the same colour to fill it in. with this colour go a little over the edge so it looks like you are covering cat like eyes. and this should show you are wearing eye liner without looking like a tramp :D

i hope i explained well enough if not just asked and i will show you step by step pictures.

for the rest of your face do an all over bronzer powder, that way you are covered yet it looks natural.
