Ladies, I need prayer!

OK..... Well, some updates:

I finished all of my finals!!

The wedding is in 8 weeks and invites go out this weekend along with Tony's graduation Saturday!!

In December, I had a surgery to remove a cyst. It has been 5 months since my surgery, and am not healed yet. Yesterday I had an appt with another dr. for a 2nd opinion as to why not. He says I am not healing and that I am a mess. The only way for me to begin healing again, is to go back in and clean it up! So, as I begin to cry, his nurse comes in to schedule my SURGERY for Monday!! So!, monday at 11:45 I will go back under the knife. It will be a little different this time though, as for my dressing. He is putting a "vac dressing" on me. Basically, it is a sponge and a bandage on top of it. Attached to a tube that goes to a box that I must carry with me always. This is supposed to suck everything and pull it all together. He says that he cannot garuntee that I will be 100% completely healed in 8 weeks for the wedding day, but I could. We are very worried at this point and wish the other doctor would have done something sooner to help me.

Please pray for a rapid healing!!!!

Keep your hopes high and your faith strong, girl. You WILL be healed up, don't even question it. A positive attitude and lots of prayers does wonders for healing. I know that it's easy for me to say that right now, huh?! Those vacs work well even though they can be a pain in the butt. Wishing you all the best. You'll be in my prayers, especially on Monday.

You will definatley be in my thoughts and prayers. I had a similar drain when I had my kidney transplant. I had my transplant on Tuesday and the next Wednesday I got the drain out. I KNOW you will be healed by 8 weeks!!!!:goodluck:

Thank you ladies, soo much!! You have no idea how much your support and encouragement is helping me!! We are just thankful, that I can enjoy this weekend with my family and watch my FH graduate before the surgery.

I'm back! My surgery was yesterday... and I'm in quite a bit of pain. I go back to the dr. tomorrow. I hurt alot today.... I'm not worried about that, I'm just really worried about healing on time!! Thank you for all of your prayers ladies!!!!

Happy to hear that the surgery is over. I don't know if you've heard of the book "The Secret" but it basically says that if you truly believe that you will heal in time for your wedding and have no doubts at all then it will happen. I do pray for you and believe that you will feel better in time for your big day! Hugs! :D
