I think I found our reception location!!!

Ugh...We have been struggling to find a NICE place for an inexpensive price. Just is next to impossible around here...If it's inexpensive, it's not very nice...If it's nice, it's probably expensive...

However, I was thinking and remembered the last wedding that I went to and where her reception was and thought I would look into it...Not knowing about price or anything like that...These are what I have for pictures of it...

This is the outside


This is some of the inside..They didn't show all of the parts, but this is where the head table would be..up on the platform, with the dance area right below it.



The price for the ENITRE day on a Friday like we are doing is only $300.00!!! It holds up to 175 people, which we won't even come close to..It INCLUDES table and chairs and the use of their kitchen....May not need that caterer after all????? What do you all think??

I can't see your pictures, but I'm sure it's a beautiful place. We've paid for our hall. We get it all day Friday for decorating and rehearsal and then all day Saturday for the ceremony and reception and we only paid $300! It's a very personal lodge atmosphere. It would be really really beautiful for a fall or winter wedding, but we're doing the spring, so all the windows on one side will be the main highlight. We also get all our tables and chairs and a kitchen. My suggestion to those looking for innexpensive but yet, still decent, venues is to check with your city. The place we rented is a city park. You could even check with area cities or cities you know someone is a resident in so you can rent through them and get the resident rate. It's a great untapped resource, what cities offer, and we all know they could use the money.
